Love it great sound, fills vehicle with good music.

This is the first rugged water resistant speaker i've ever actually had the guts to fully submerge in water. The box doesn't state how deep you can take it, but it does say that it can be submerged for up to 30 minutes. I let it take a plunge in about 3 feet of water and it floats! The sound is affected by the water obviously, it becomes muddy and the volume lowers when in water but most importantly it survived the dive and works fine after getting soaked. I wouldn't recommend charging it until it completely dries out just to be safe. The audio quality of the speaker is about as good as it gets for something small and portable. I really am amazed at how loud it gets and is water proof. It is kind of cool to watch the water literally shoot out of the speaker grill lol. Out of the box, I find that it doesn't have deep bass but if you connect it to the UE app on your phone or tablet, you can use different presets to get more bass and tweak the mids and treble. The app also helps you pair the speaker with other UE speakers and even lets your friends control the music with it. The app does have some pretty cool features. With some tweaking the speaker sounds pretty good even at high volumes. My only complaint with the speaker is that there seems to be a "dead zone" on the speaker. The whole can isn't one large speaker, It does seem to have a "360" sound but id say that only about 75-80% of the whole can projects audio. the bottom portion of the speaker does not produce sound. I assume its because the speaker is meant to be stood upright so in most situations you will not notice it. I only noticed it because i picked it up to put it on a stand that was above shoulder height. All in All, this is one of my favorite speakers I've used and I can recommend this to someone who likes to have a speaker while doing anything outdoors. Whether it be on your bike, while camping, swimming, or chilling at the beach. It is super rugged and I think will be able to tag along with you at just about any outdoor activity

The Boom 3 is perfect for taking camping, to the pool or on a bike ride. It will fit very well in the water bottle slot on most bicycles. It's waterproof and if you happen to drop it in the pool or the lake it will float. It's a good on the go speaker. The Boom 3 can be controlled through the UE app, which will have to be updated for the Boom 3. Out of the box the Boom 3's treble is dull and lifeless. The app does have some EQ settings and a custom option, but it doesn't seem to want to stay on the custom EQ if you use it. I found it better to use a dedicated EQ app on my phone. With EQ enabled, the treble (highs) were much clearer and enjoyable. You can set up playlists and control that from the magic button on the speaker. The speaker itself is covered in a hard fabric covering, similar to the JBL Flip 4 and some of their other speakers. Has a loop to attach a carabiner, not included. Bottom of the speaker is a connector for charging from a docking style base plate, also not included. Boom 3 did move the micro-USB charging port from the bottom to the side, which is an improvement. No power brick included with this speaker, just a charging cable. Overall, this is a solid speaker. It's slightly larger than my JBL Flip4 and plays a little louder and with a little more bass capability than the Flip 4. $150 is pretty pricey, IMO, but you do get a solid, rugged speaker with solid battery life, good output and sound quality when properly EQ'd.

My kids love this new speaker. It has incredible sound with deep bass good for listening to any music. Very easy to connect to any Bluetooth. We did not encounter any issue. It is excellent that this speaker is waterproof since my teens will be using it a lot. I don’t plan to use this speaker near a pool, but sometimes it gets used in the bathroom where water or liquids may splash. The speaker has a hard casing but with a coat of rubber-like material with will help in getting a firm grip on the device when transporting. The size and weight are perfect to carry around. The battery life is excellent and will last for hours before needing a recharge. To conclude, my entire house loves this new speaker, and I would recommend it because of its excellent sound, this to any home.

This speaker may be small but you wouldn't be able to tell simply by listening to it. Its very loud for its size. My daughter is listening to it in the bathroom now while bathing and I can hear everything perfectly with the door open 3 rooms away. The bass isn't the best, but I didn't really expect it to be based on size. The sound quality is surprisingly crisp and clear, even when turned to max volume. It connected to my phone in a flash and the battery life seems to be decent, haven't tested the full 15 hour claim though so I cannot confirm that. Its waterproof also, which is perfect for taking to the beach or pool. I'd say its definitely worth the price!

Love the box it came in as much as the sound quality! Logitech brought their "A" GAME to the party with this one. So easy to pair (via bluetooth). Even have an app that can walk you through it. You really want to load the app and get the extra features built in the ULTIMATE EARS speaker. Visually the two-tone (grey and black threads) fabric is cool to look at, as well as comfortable to hold and tough for rough play. The charger is a standard USB micro with a long white cable included. There is an optional charging base so you can just plop the BOOM 3 on it, charge and play at the same time. Cool feature: link up to 150, not a typro!, 150 other speakers. Can you even imagine? . (pun intended) The app lets you link two or more quickly. I tested my new speaker while painting the garage door yesterday. What great sound! The plus and minus symbols on the back are actually volume up and down control buttons! Clever! On the top one push on or off. Special center button for pause, skip or via the APP special playlist feature. Even without the great other features it sounds fantastic. No more 50-pound boomboxes of the 70's.

It’s very pleasing to see many of the reviews fit with how I feel about this speaker. My initial thoughts were positive. The feel is sturdy, durable and feels heavy duty. The speaker has an excellent sound out of the box and was very easy to connect to my phone. In no time I was listening to some of my favorite songs. Likes: Great sound! Great battery life (15+ hours) Connectivity is about 100 feet Downloadable app Can pair up to 4 devices Durable Feel Color options Long USB charging cord Overall, these speakers are perfect on the go. I like the positioning of the volume control (plus/minus). Those symbols are placed cleverly. I’ve taken them hiking and also to the beach and they held up great at both locations. If you’re looking to get an amazing portable speaker with excellent sound, then these are for you. This is easily my favorite portable speaker I have. I highly recommend!

This speaker is no good I don't recommend I don't go matin to say

I've been using UE products for years and they never disappoint, this one included. Great sound. Outstanding battery life. Love the waterproofness. Just a great all around speaker. Are there speakers with better audio, probably, but this thing is rugged and sounds pretty darn good. This is not an audiophile speaker, it's a speaker that's meant to be used and to have fun with.

Great immersive sound for a small speaker. This is my first time buying this brand, and any speaker not Bose. My Bose Color Link stopped holding a charge so I was looking for something that was waterproof, and max cost, $150. I wanted something small to take to the beach or the park for a picnic. This fits the bill, and I’m so glad Best Buy had a setup for this brand in store. It allowed me to really hear how clear it was, and definitely some bass without being so bassy that there’s feedback. I also appreciate how quickly and easily it connects. My Bose speakers I have will sometimes disconnect from my iPhone and that can be frustrating. Happy with this purchase.

Admittedly I did not think much of this upon receipt, picture attached shows size and all included in box. It was easy to pair to bluetooth phone (iPhone) and instantly start streaming. The sound on this is where it stands out. The volume buttons on the front are obvious to control, and at full volume I can hear whatever is streaming clearly through out an entire house. The only con is the lack of a wall charger, but any wall charger you already have should work. I was able to use a basic iphone wall charger to fully charge the speaker within a couple hours. There is a free app that can be downloaded for better control and features. I have used it a couple times, but prefer the tactile controls on the speaker. Upon power up/down it makes sounds and once paired to a device there is another sound. The top button can play/pause/skip music, or cycle through playlists you already have.

This is my first UE speaker but I liked it so mucccccch! Qulaity of material used in it is super high, soft fabric all around the speaker gives a good grip. Cobtrols are accessible + & - workes pretty nice and by pressing both + & - you can check battery percentage and also you can check through Boom app on IOS and Android smartphobes. 3 buttons on top of the speaker, middle one is to easily sync playslist and play, pause and 2 presses to skip track and one side for power and other one for BT. Boom 3 promises to deliver 360 sound which very obvious when music is playing. Water proof and has floats when being sinking. Sound qulaity is as excellent as others out there in the market “high end speakers” ipI played classical, pop and alternative rock and it got impressed!

I love my Boom 3. I have the Boom 1 too, so I can compare them. The Boom 3 has better, stronger sound, deeper bass and with the app one can adjust the equalizer to one taste. The Boom 3 is a little taller and thicker than the Boom 1 but still portable enough to move around still fits my bike water cage or the cup holder in a car. I use it almost every day either with my music or with movies. It has excellent Bluetooth connection, I love that it only needs to be paired once and that’s it it recognizes all of my devices with no problem. Action movies sound awesome on it, battery life is great also. Charges quite fast. I like that is more water proof now, so no worries if it rains or if there’s a spill on the kitchen counter. And if Ultimate Ears made this one with the same quality as the Boom 1 I anticipate many hours or years of use.

This is our ninth UEBoom. Our first 3 are still working after 8 years (at 60% charge). And our next 3 are doing well at 5 years (80% charge). Our last 3 are all Boom 3. All mix well an dx connect with the others to make a beautiful surround sound at a very low volume. We use them throughout the house but especially outside around our fire pit.
