The sound is great. It is very loud when need to be but the bass is alright can't really here it unless close to it.

Love this speaker, I've purchased three... one for myself and one for two college age kids. Everyone loves the BOOM. It's sleek in design, holds a charge and has great sound including bass. Much better than the portable BOSE I owned previously.

Better than the Bose. We bought both and returned the Boze. The Boom is the Bomb!! BIG sound and crash proof!

The sound that comes from this little guy is pretty amazing, I love the portable-ness of this speaker I can bring it outside whilst I'm grilling or in the garage. Its really great sounding

I was looking for a speaker that would be compatible with both my macbook pro and iPhone. At first I was told that the speaker would probably not work with my laptop, but they were not sure at the store, so I figured it was worth the shot. I am glad that i took the chance with it! I first connected it with my phone to figure out how to connect it and then tried with my laptop and BAM, it worked! The sound I feel is on par with the bose speakers that this is replacing and it is far more portable! A bonus was that I got a call while I was listening to music on my phone and when I answered it it came over my speaker, after realizing it had a microphone built into it, I have now started using this to allow me to drive hands free wile talking on the phone. If you are looking for an all around semi rugged speaker, this one is for you!

Best speaker for out door gatherings, easy to set up and add other speakers - almost like surround sound.

This is a great little speaker. I've heard other portable Bluetooth speakers before and liked them ok. This was great because it has an app you can download for it and change the equalizer and even pair a second one for stereo sound. My friend has the UE Megaboom and I considered buying that, but didn't really want to spend the extra $100. Plus it was too bulky for around the office. I really like the UE Boom and highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this speaker its portable and has amazing sound. I love most that it has Bluetooth capabilities and can connect with any Iphone or android device. Also, I learned that the battery can be charged with a Samsung Galaxy charger. Overall Great Speaker to Liven Up Any Situation!
