The speaker is amazing. UE makes great products from the Megablast to Blast no different. Quality all the way around. From the packaging to the build quality to the overall sound. Easy to pair up as well. Great wifi reception.

It prefers wifi connection in order for it to be controlled via the app. Also it has Alexa, which I don't use. Overall it's bigger than the megaboom and heavier. Not sure I like it or worth the price.

The app compablity could use some updates. It takes awhile to connect to Bluetooth and sometimes it’s doesnt. Alexa is great although it can be a pain having to yell if it doesn’t hear you. The sound great tho!

The loudest, most cleanest; crisp highs, deep bass one could ever ask for in a portable speaker. I can’t wait to get another so that Incan pair them both on my cell phone. This manufacturer has listened to what the consumer wants!

We purchase this for our son’s 17th birthday. It wasn’t the brand that he wanted, but after a few days he said he was glad we got him this. The sound is outstanding and with Alexa always listening, that’s a plus...right?

I love this speaker, it goes everywhere with me and built in wifi keeps the music going,only thing i would change is to be able to change the wake work. It only allows for Alexa to be used

I found this to be a great mobile speaker. It was easy to set up with WiFi and Alexa. I like the Alexa feature - I can select songs as if I was using Alexa at home- very convent. The sound is also great and of high quality.

This speaker is great however I was told I can connect this to my BOOM 3 Speaker and they cannot. Only the MEGABLAST can connect with multiple MEGABLAST (NOT BOOM OR MEGABOOM)

This unit is a great speaker. However with the Alexa, it will not work if another dot or Is being used at the same time. I don’t know if it’s a speaker issue or an Alexa app issue? Other wise its a great speaker

We can now enjoy the sunset, a glass of wine and our favorite tunes OUTSIDE without an electrical outlet. Great product. My wife even caught me in the garage dancing to "American Pie" and decided to join in.

I use this speaker a lot, I have taken it on all my business trips, used for music videos. dropped, splashed, kicked. and the speaker runs and works like a beast! I do wish it was a little bit louder but overall worth getting!

This speaker sounds really good. We often use it my our pool. It is great to be able to use it hands free with Alexa. However the Alexa function often has a hard time hearing you if the volume is high.

Mega boom ears is a excellent portable speaker. Its loud without getting distorted the noise level is clean and clear ..its a awesome portable speaker

overall, I am satisfied with this purchase but I think there is definitely better speakers for the price. The bass isn't as deep as I would like but it is very loud.

I wanted the functionality of Amazon Alexa in an outdoor speaker. This one does it all! Really great sound, and the ability to have Alexa out on the patio, great combo!

I really Like the idea of it having Alexa but at times it doesn’t hear me Or respond and if you don’t have Spotify it’s not worth it so you have to pay for a subscription really to utilize Alexa

I had the 1st generation ue Boom, and this blows it out of the water. Not to mention you can use it IN the water! It sounds great!

That’s all I can say. What an amazing piece of technology that will literally rock the house. Apple Mac, HP laptop, or IPhone-easily switch between devices and get amazing sound.

GREAT GREAT sound and volume. However, Alexa operation is quite poor. Very poor microphone where you have to yell to get alexa to respond.

Owned this speaker for over a year. I've owned an iPhone since 2008. In that time I've owned numerous Bluetooth products (headphones, speakers, head sets) I have never had an issue with connectivity until attempting to use this "wonderful" speaker. When it works, it works great. No problems... exactly what you'd expect out of a Bluetooth speaker. However, almost every time I use this speaker I experience constant disconnects. We are talking like every 20, 30, 40 minutes. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Some days, speaker plays fine and it might disconnect once. Other days...it's just constant disconnects forcing me to reconnect. The thing is...in all my years in owning and using Bluetooth headphones from Anker, Jaybird, and Apple...I've never had those products drop the Bluetooth connection once. Same with Sync in my car, my Yamaha receiver, etc For a speaker that costs $200-$250 (if you can get it on sale or not) the connectivity issues on the Megablast are inexcusable. If you're on the fence...run away. And if you still want to play with fire, make sure you're aware of your return period.
