Upgraded from a Bose speaker, everything about this is better. Better connection, waterproof, dust proof and it sounds 1000x better. I stream off my phone in the house to the detached garage, Bluetooth is strong and without hiccups. Great price and quick shipping.

I’ve only had it for 2 days but so far it’s amazing! Very great base but not overwhelming the speaker itself is pretty heavy and sturdy feels like it’s really good quality! Also love the feature that it has 2 methods of charging: comes with a standard charging chord but can purchase separately a charging dock wich I intend to purchase soon!

The MegaBook is a cool utilitarian soundbox ideal mostly for locations. AS I travel as a photographer, and additionally I am a camping lover, the Megabook brings a decent sound for my favorite music when I am outdoors. That said, and in spite of all the fuzz about the Book factor, the sound for indoors use is not the best one we can get. Of course, I have my super cool Boos system attached to my computer and and I have plenty of top sound, so I do not use this Megaboom indoors.

Sound is great when you just play 1 speaker, however I was a little disappointed when I tried to combine the 2 speakers to get a better sound from different rooms. Too much distortion and kept breaking up. I recommend if you just want great sound from 1 speaker, but to have multiple speakers in different areas I would not recommend you waste your money.

Needed a speaker to play music from my cell phone outdoors. This speaker is plenty loud and clear.

Pros: - Great value for the price. - Fully submersible - Can take a beating - The sound quality is ok for the size of the speaker. Cons: - Stereo mode (pairing with 2nd Megaboom) could be better. Speakers cannot be more than 3/4 feet apart or it starts cutting off. - Sound quality is ok. The bass overwhelms the mids/highs

I like the sound but connecting them together to create a party can be a task. Sometimes the app doesn't pick up the other speakers or it disconnects all together. Its actually quite annoying. That was the hole appeal to me in the first place. The battery life is also something to be desired. Like i said, i do like the sound and how loud it gets for such a tiny speaker.

Bought this to use for Mother’s Day BBQ. Speaker sounds great especially with the settings you can play with in the app. Unfortunetly, the sound isnt great when you are more than 5 ft away. The bluetooth range is not as great as advertised. After 3 feet away I would experience connectivity issues. Now who knows if I recieved a defective speaker or not but not a great experience. The worst part was it was advertised to last long after a full charge and the speaker died after 4-5 hours of us. Not sure because I kept it as max volume the whole time but it was fully charged after purchase. I returned it and may just go with the regular Wonderbooms which I have had a great experience with.

The sound from these speakers is really good, but we bought 3 to connect them for sound spread around the yard. The app and connection is easy enough, but if they get just a little too far apart or have any obstruction (like a person walking past), the connection is interrupted and the music skips. We bought different colors—the black/white combo is the easiest to see/operate, but I’d recommend getting different colors if you get multiples so you can identify which one you are operating in the app.

Great device, sound is good, waterproof and it floats.

I’ve really enjoyed this purchase. I intend to get a few more for placement on the patio. The sound is great. I don’t like a lot if bass and the equalizer makes adjustment easy. The bass is rich and deep at half level and the preset “voices” is perfect for my liking.
