Solid sound , easy to set up, compact and easy controls , battery lasts a long time , definitely love this speaker, small size , big sound

Sound quality of the speaker is good. Not too bass heavy like the JBL one but the battery life seems to be really good based on early use. Connecting to speaker via UE app and iPhone was seamless. However I wish there were more equalizer preset options in the app. I have deduced one start for FEDEX delivery. They left the package out in the rain even when I buzzed them in.

This is a great portable speaker, great sound and clarity!I love the party up feature, I have another Megaboom speaker and a Boom3 speaker that I use together to create a surround sound effect while only having a small footprint in the backyard, I love it!!!

I bought this item to replace some older Bluetooth speakers we would use around our hot tub and when barbecuing. It has a great sound and is very easy to use. This sounds great by itself but also is great paired with another. The app that you can download to use this speaker also allows for two or more to be joined in a party mode. I now have 4 that I use together with the app and it helps fill the space with music nicely. I can highly recommend this Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM3 speaker!

I've had this speaker for a couple of days now and i've been very impressed with its performance and build quality. This speaker was extremely easy to setup, especially with the app and I was up and playing music in a manner of minutes. It came about 20% charged, but Im not sure how accurate that was given the fact I plugged it in after it prompted me to update the latest software and after the update, it was at 72%. The update took less than five minutes, so it couldn't have charged that fast, but I will keep an eye on it. The bass is indeed incredible for a speaker of this size and it also does a good job of not drowning out the treble and didn't really have any distortion even at louder volume levels. I found the app to be extremely useful in pairing my devices, setting up custom equalizers and probably my favorite feature of setting up one touch playlists. This feature basically allows the speaker to immediately start playing your favorite playlists when the speaker is powered on an connected to your device. You can save up to four playlists and you can skip them using the app or by pressing the magic button on the top of the speaker. There are really only three buttons that you will use once your device is paired. The volume up and down buttons on the front of the speaker and the magic button on the top. Im still learning the commands for skipping tracks, playlists, etc, but generally the magic button is easy to use. I found the sound to be filling and powerful overall, especially for a smaller speaker. I set it on my kitchen counter and played several different songs and they all sounded excellent with this speaker. Before I received this speaker, my favorite unit had quickly become the JBL PK5, another ultra portable bluetooth speaker, but now I'm torn between that one and this one. The clarity is better on the JBL, but the overall blend of strong bass and quality sound are better on the MegaBoom 3. My wife and I buy houses to renovate and rent as a second source of income, so portable speakers are great for those days spent laboring over painting, drywalling, etc. My only issue now is to decide whether I will let her use the UE or the JBL. I think for my type of music and usage, the UE is the better speaker for me. She primarily listens to podcasts so the vocal clarity in the JBL will be better for her. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the charging cable and brick. Most people will use this while out and about, so a white charging brick and cable isn't ideal. I would have preferred black, but all other things being equal, this is a minor complaint. This is my first UE speaker and I definitely am a fan. I would certainly recommend this speaker.

This is the 3rd Logitech speaker I have used and ranks among the best of them. First, as always, sound quality is at the forefront of my mind and should be for anyone considering purchasing this model. As with all Megaboom models, it gets LOUD. Despite it's medium-ish size compared to other popular models, the sound can get plenty loud and cover a large area indoors or outdoors. The sound quality itself is very good, but I did slightly prefer other Logitech models like the Megablast. Other key features include the extensive battery life, listed at 20 hours. I've used mine for about 8 so far without needing to recharge. 20 hours will last you an entire weekend in most circumstances so it's nice not having to worry about having a place to plug in. Did I mention this thing is waterproof? I'm normally scared to take any electronics near water, but this speaker can not only float, but can also be submerged for up to 30 minutes. That's pretty cool and should make for excellent pool parties. This model has an optional charging station that you purchase if you would like to use it around the house and then just grab and go when you need to take it elsewhere. I imagine the charging time will be much better with the dock so consider that if you will be using the speaker frequently. My favorite feature of this model is the "magic" button. It's easy to locate on the top and can quickly be used to play/pause and skip songs with double presses. Also, if you want to fine tune your audio experience, the partner app allows you to use an equalizer to tweak to your favorite bass/mid/treble levels. At this price range it will be difficult for you to find a better all-around speaker with the features that this one has. My four star rating is only because I've had better audio quality at loud levels with other Logitech speakers in the past, but by no means is the audio quality poor.

This is the first portable Bluetooth speaker for us and I have to say I'm glad we finally have one. This MegaBoom 3 is pretty impressive with it's sound and loudness. I paired with my LG G7 ThinQ and listened to some music and the MegaBoom 3 filled our living room with a lot of sound! Highs and Mids are really good and Bass is good considering the size of MegaBoom 3. This thing gets pretty loud if you want it to. The unit it self is very easy to use with simple controls. I was surprised at how heavy the MegaBoom 3 is but it also makes it feel very well built and sturdy. I have used it for about 3-4 hours total so far on it's first charge. I really like the performance of the Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 3 Portable Bluetooth Speake. If your in the market for a Portable Bluetooth Speaker this should be on your short list. I would have no problem recommending it to anyone.

This speaker is pretty powerful for its size and sounds great! I use it on the bass boost mode and it thumps without drowning out the vocals. Its battery lasts for the better part of the day and charges from almost dead to full in less than an hour in my experience. For the price its pretty impressive and still very portable. I put a D clip on it and I hang it from tents and backpacks.

This was a Father’s Day gift to my husband. The speaker is used around the pool area and delivers great sound with the security of knowing that it’s water resistant. Great portability and holds a charge for days. Would not recommend for a large party but for some adults hanging out on the deck it’s got great sound. I would buy this item again.

While the looks can be deceiving, being that it is a small speaker, this little guy is amazing! I have had a Bose and Marshall speaker back in the day and figured I wanted to get an upgraded speaker. This tiny little speaker was indeed impressive. While I based my decision to purchase off of reviews here and YouTube reviews, I bought it with skepticism thinking it would be mediocre. I figured, let me try this out fresh out of the box in my car in which I was not too impressed with it. I tried it in my bedroom and that’s where the magic happened. The sound quality definitely delivered as the music was bouncing off the walls. It doesn’t stop there, but you can connect these to other Ultimate Ears products! In finding this out, I really want to purchase the Hyperboom to go with this little guy (if you haven’t already demod this, go to a Best Buy and try this sucker out) At the end of the day, I believe this little one is worth it because you can take it wherever you want, super portable and it is also dust and water proof! Highly worth the value. I would also recommend the Hyperboom.

Lasting battery. I sometimes falling asleep with the speaker on and the battery barely moves. The sound is amazing! I don’t need to turn the volume all the way up either. It’s s turdy on different surfaces and the app makes it easy to use when I’m in another room. Overall, a great speaker. I love it!
