Bought this recently on an early Best Buy Black Friday sale and man this is a great speaker. Pleasantly surprised by the volume this speaker can put out. Besides the volume being nice, I think the best thing about this speaker is it does all kinds of music well. It's got nice bass for bass heavy music, it plays hard rock/metal well and it plays the softer acoustic stuff well. It also sounds good for talk radio. Highly recommended.

The sound is very good, and the battery life is great, however pairing speakers is not easy.

Purchased as a Christmas present for the whole family. This speaker is well built,looks great and easy to use. The sound is awesome and everyone in the house has used it. The phone app lets you control the features and link with the Boom 2 that we purchased for my son.

About the size of a can of tennis balls (3), this speaker is easy to operate, connect and transport. What a fantastic sound stage from such a small size. Response is customizable as well (EQ options within the free app). Great for camping, on a boat, at the beach, at the pool, etc. Use while charging. Charge lasts quite some time (at least 12 hours), unless extreme heat or cold. Any of the UE Megaboom configurations would be perfect for many, many settings.

Love the Different Color Options..Love the Solid and Durable Construction..So if you drop it by mistake it Will Not Break..Thus will last you for years to come. Very Long lasting operation Battery...Very Very Crystal Clear..However At times I wish it could Be a Little Louder, but then again I like my music Blasting!!! so I think it just me..Quality!!! Highly Recommend..you Can Control it and Turn it on or Off with your Smart Remotely with out having to even touch it..So while your in bed you can turn it on with out having to get up and turn it on. Very Nice

This is the best wireless speaker on the market. Amazing technology. I have had one for two years and it’s just AWSOME! So I bought another one to have upstairs in my home. It even sounds great out by my pool. Lasts a long time on one charge.

I've always used Bose bluetooth speakers and thought i had the cream of the crop, then i bought this one. This thing is by far louder than all of my bose speakers, and the battery last 4x as long! All of the ports have a rubber cover to them so it gives confidence in the water resistance. There is also an app you can download to remotely turn on/off the speaker, view the battery level, UPDATE the speakers firmware (how cool), AND adjust the EQ

i was on vacation with my family in sunny florida. And i was looking for a BT speaker that i could control from my iPhone. i went to best buy and found the megaboom. Boy i was impressed with the sound and all of its great features. i gave it four stars because it was expensive. but compared to the others in its class, it was worth the extra money and delivers great bass from such a small footprint.

We got this on holiday sale price of $99, and for that price it is pretty good, with some caveats. It has decent bass for its size, but does not quite live up to its Megaboom name in that regard. Overall sound quality is pretty good, but not great, and battery life is very good. The 360 sound is a nice feature, as you don't have to be in front of it to get the best sound. One annoyance is that the usb power port is on the bottom, recessed under a waterproofing flap. Not only can it be awkward to plug in, but you have to stand it upside-down (or lay it down) while charging. The newer version fixes this, but it much more expensive than this one at the sale price. Value is 5 stars at the sale price only.

Bought this for my wife for beach trips and the like. I am impressed with the sound it puts out as it sounds quite good. I was prepared to buy the Bose top of the line for $279, but the salesman told me that if durability was of concern I should look at the UE Megaboom. Sound quality was better with Bose, but I want to be able to travel with this and the fact that it's waterproof sold me. Bought this on sale for $179 so saved a few bucks to boot. Will likely buy another at some point to pair for a stereo bluetooth experience.

The UE MEGABOOM is a great all around speaker, both indoors and outdoors. Love the fact it is waterproof so I have no worries around the pool, and it is more than enough to cover the entire backyard on its own, but can't wait to pair two of them in the future.

I was so impressed with the battery life, sound quality, and ease of use, I purchased a second one. Pretty cool, how you can link both of them together! I use it while I'm boating or just hanging out on the beach. My wife even likes it!! Great product!!!!

Small, loud, and easily portable. Holds a long charge, easy to pair and has a great acoustic range. Perfect for music beside the pool. Waterproof too.

I live in a small space with no living room. PROS: This portable speaker makes me feel like I am in a living room. Great range 100 ft, great battery life (3 days w/o charging depending on usage), can be really loud if you maxed out the volume. CONS: Not as durable as advertised, I dropped this speaker few times and sometimes I dont get the sound until I hit it a few times. Overall a great speaker almost the same league as branded ones like Bose.

I purchased the Megaboom LE "Limited Edition" from Best Buy. I could not find the LE version on the Megaboom web site; leads me to believe perhaps this is some sort of promotional model of the regular Megaboom. I also purchased the charging dock that the Best Buy site stated as often purchased together. However, the charging dock does not work on this speaker. I returned the dock to my local Best Buy with no hassle. The Megaboom pretty much matches the sound of my JBL Charge. A little boomy at times, but easy to use and easy to listen to. Good volume. At full retail of something like $150-$180, there is a lot of competition and some trial listening would be in order before purchasing. At my purchase price of $99 I found it to be a good value.

I have a sailing kayak which is a very wet environment. Even with wind noise and waves splashing all over this thing and it sounds great. Couple this with a waterproof mobile phone and you've got a great system for being on the water. Highly recommended.

this is an amazing speaker! waterproof, has an app to control it on your phone. the sound is so clear & it gets so load & fills the room. my brother got one & I loved his so I got one & this Christmas I bought my boyfriend one. I really recommend it.

Love the look and feel, sound quality is excellent. I do prefer the sound quality of the Big Jambox overall , but if you need a speaker for the boat, pool, or are concerned about water and sand infiltration, this is the best buy! Also not too heavy to tote.

I can play this speaker loud all day at work (12hrs +)and only use 1/2 of the battery. I work in a freezer and the speaker stands the worst conditions and keeps on ticking!! The best part is I bought 2 and can play at the same time with the UE app. Awesome features as in tap control, you just tap the speaker to change songs, pause etc. the high price is worth it and puts other portable speakers to shame. Oh and the range is phenomenal .

Ever since I purchased this speaker I've never wanted to listen to music any other way! It's so loud the neighbors complain! Winning in my book!!! Also with the app you can connect 2 of them for the ultimate surround sound experience. Love it!
