This speaker is durable with great sound and long battery life. I have purchased two others for gifts and this one is for me. It is also ok for it to get wet in case you leave it out in the rain.

Did my homework and ultimately decided on the MEGABOOM. Really glad I did. Great 360 degree sound and plenty loud. Phone app allows you to control volume which is convenient when across the room. I strapped it to my golf cart during a recent scramble and everyone complimented me on the sound. Got this on sale. Great purchase.

360 degree sound. Really is a nice rugged unit. Cord is a bit funky. Be nice if they attached a small bag to it for the cord. Connected easily and great battery life. Didn’t know what to expect - very happy.

I got this on sale once the newer version came out. The difference I heard between this and the newer one was better bass in the newer one; but the savings of this one on sale outweighed that. Very happy and it gets nice and loud- I use it on my small flats boat which has no battery, and around the house.

I have mega and regular. Gave regular size to my mom and she loves it and bought this mega.. big fan of battery life , sound quality and durability at backyard, patio and when travelling.

I teach private music lessons (French horn), and I go to different locations. Part of my teaching involves playing recording of solo works for my instrument so students can hear what the piece of music sounds like. I can't carry a stereo system around with me, and I need a substantial amount of volume so that if we 'play along' with something that is recorded, it can be loud enough to not be covered up by our live sound on the horn. This Megaboom speaker is really awesome! It is a great teaching tool for me. I found a very good backpack case (actually made for bike riders from REI) that holds the megaboom and my laptop comfortably and I can keep it with me easily everywhere I need to travel to teach. I could not be more happy with this product and how it helps me do my job.

Pretty good sound and volume for the price but not up to the standards I was hoping it was when compared to the beats pill xl that I had.

I bought the speaker to listen to on my porch when people are over, it works nicely for that especially with the ability to pair the speakers so you can have multiple going at once. I mainly bought it to have group music for long bike rides so everyone can hear it, you can definitely hear it clearly even on a busy road!
