I purchased this on sale for under $150. I had been looking to get one for some time as it offers great sound and can be paired with another UE Megaboom speaker.

This speaker rocks. Good clear sound even when you max out the volume. Love the 360 sound. Makes it easy to put in the house and everybody can hear no matter where they are standing.

Wasn't sure to buy megaboom because I'm a bose fan.... but no regrets, high sound fidelity, no sound distortion and great battery life for an incredible price.

I had the original UE Boom speaker for a long time. The Megaboom went on sale and I couldn't pass it up. Water resistant and great sound. You can read reviews, and one will say UE has better sound than JBL. Then the next review says JBL has superior sound. Listen to both and you choose! This speaker is tough. It rides in the mule on the ranch through dust, sun, and rain.

I bought this for my husband on his birthday and he absolutely loves the sound quality and mobility. In store personnel argued that it was not telephone speaker phone capable. As a matter of fact it is! Even after I told him the online information stated it was. He responded don't believe what's on the Best Buy website. Really?

The pros in this speaker is the all around sound, meaning I can walk around the speaker and get the same sound quality. The volume is high but can sound distorted if too high. The app for these allow you to mix the audio, meaning you can add more base or less base, maybe even more instrumental sounds. It feels good quality too.

I bought this as a second speaker that I can pair with my first one. I can fill a large room with one of these. I was able to fill a basketball gym with two!

The 360 degree sound is excellent!.Has wonderful volume. Put it outside and you can hear it through out our back yard with clear and strong sound. Could use a bit stronger base.

Sound is great, can't get my iPad 2 or iPhone 5s to sync to it. Newer ones sync no problem. It did NOT come with a power cord. Thankfully I had one from an old Motorola phone that worked. Seems to hold a charge for quite a while.

I absolutely love this UE. I carry it around like it's my baby. I wasn't planning to buy this until the in-store Best Buy employee suggested I take a look. I've never looked back! It has great sound (which is most important to me) and it is loud enough to put in the backyard and everyone can hear it. Great balance of bass and treble and if you want to tweak it more there is an UE app for that.

Impressive sound quality for such a small device. Very portable. My husbands uses it for presentations and loves it. I do think it is overpriced - well over a $150, so until the price is more reasonable, I can not recommend it.

I originally bought the Beats Pill XL but when Apple recalled them I wanted to get another Bluetooth speaker. I researched this speaker and found it got great reviews. I used the UE for about a month now and it works great with awesome sound. It's great for indoor and outdoor use.

Have the little brother UE Boom and wanted a 2nd for home. Pairs up easily and sounds great in stereo. The Black Friday deal made this purchase even easier!

So far so good , Very good sound,and a good quality ,i love the color and the way to wake me up , also the sound that makes when I turn on and turn off the wonderful megaboon

I had never heard of Ultimate Ears until my wife and I were shopping for a new wireless speaker. I listened to all the demos at Best Buy and the MEGABOOM had much better sournd than speakers that cost twice as much. Our house has a large open floorplan and the MEGABOOM fills the entire living space with deep, rich music. The highs and bass sound fantastic at all volumes.

We bought it for the awesome bass in the sound. We compared it to all of the ones in the store and felt like this one was the one for us. We wanted a bluetooth speaker that we could use by our pool. This one is water resistant which was another reason we went with it. HOWEVER, after about 3 weeks, the first one we had just died. Wouldn't turn on, charge, connect, nothing....Best Buy exchanged it on the spot, without any problems. We are now on our second one and have had it maybe 2 weeks and it is still working fine. But only time will tell if this is a glitch in the product itself, or just the first one we had. (Fingers crossed!)

The UE Megaboom is an excellent BT speaker. Sound quality is great with deep rich bass and crisp high tones and smooth mid-range. It’s waterproof design makes it my go to speaker for the beach or pool. It easily pairs up with other UE speakers, so if your friends have them they can be linked together for the perfect party system. I highly recommend this speaker!
