I purchased my first mega boom 1.5 years ago. I went back and forth between Bose and Polk. The representative at my local store said to listen to the mega boom, needless to say it blew me away. The sound is incredible and honestly think it’s louder (while keeping the quality) than Bose.

I have lived with the UE Megaboom for about 6 months and I have been really impressed with its fidelity and impact for a portable speaker. It holds a charge as well as described. It is very well built and feels hefty. You have the option of blu-tooth or direct wire. I prefer the direct wire.

This speaker was with me all over and has definitely been dropped, ran over, rained on, and in well over 130 degrees. Still sounds amazing and although dusty, and a little ripped, in great shape!

I am so pleased to have moved up from the UE Boom to the UE Megaboom. Although I was pleased with the sound of the original model, the Megaboom has an even fuller sound at lower volumes. I enjoy listening to a variety of streaming media with it via Bluetooth. I also value the long battery life.
