We love this portable speaker! It’s great outdoors and next to the lake, you typically cannot hear speakers all that well. But this one cuts through all the noise. We don’t have to worry about it being around water or if it drops for any reason. Would purchase it again.

I also own a Jawbone Big Jambox, and I would say the Jambox has a bit better sound and deeper bass. I like the style of the Megaboom, the smaller footprint, and the fact that you can link them to eachother, but I'm not sure I'd spend that much for a second. The "360 Sound" I originally thought meant depth of sound, that it would use processing to make it fill the room. In fact, it just means you don't have to aim it, like I do for the Jambox, to get the best sound. It's a decent product though I would have liked more surface controls like track selecting or pausing... without having to pick it up and tap on it. For me, its just good, but would have preferred to pay less since there are other devices out there with equal or better sound and more convenient features. I would recommend it for the decent sound, footprint, linking feature, and design (to include mobile app features) but with the caveats of fewer surface controls and not really a lot of bang for buck.

I have a friend who hyped this product. It really lives up to all of my expectations and more! Amazing power life, volume, and not to mention waterproof! A definite plus when you have those hot pool/beach days. Highly recommend! Definite step up from Beats By Dre Pill. So happy and pleased!

The megaboom has better sound than the boom. Which is a no brainer, DUH! What is really nice that you do not have to leave your phone in the same room. I have a my megaboom playing in the backyard, and went through my house and into my front yard to get something and I could still hear it playing.

Great battery life, Bluetooth range, sound clarity and loudness. Its pretty heavy duty which I like. At first it didn't sound very good and I was really worried but after a software update on the phone app it has sounded much better. Make sure you download the boom app and update it or it will sound like a 30 dollar speaker. I got it for 120 and I feel that is a decent price. I would like to test it against the Megaboom 3 to see if the price increase is worth it.

Price is high but the sound is awesome and it's portability is great.Bass is awesome sound quality is awesome and it looks great !Quality sound, durable build, great battery.

The sound on this speaker is very good. To be water proofed to the extent it is and still have such good audio quality is pretty cool. I have not had any issues with using the app and I can turn the speaker on and off from the app on my iPhone 8. Some people have said they couldn’t do that. The picking up speaker and tapping your hand on the top to skip tracks forward or pause doesn’t work. Not a big deal to me. I also love the battery life. I use daily about an hour while getting ready for work. I only have to charge about once a month. The convenience of this speaker makes it great.

the speaker sounds great. It's as loud as any other and with good clarity. The charge lasts as advertised and it's the most compact in it's class. I'm happy with it.

I have the smaller version and use it in my bathroom to play music from my iPhone. Then I found the bigger one for the half price ($99.99) and thought it is a great deal. It was! The Megaboom has more bass, of course more volume and sounds great. Another advantage is, that it gives you a warning when the battery is low, after 20 hours. The small one did the same, but only 5 sec before the battery was totally empty, which doesn't help at all! I love it would would recommend it to everybody who wants a portable loudspeaker with high volume and deep bass!

This item is a tad bit pricey. However in comparing this against any of the pills (which is what I went in to buy), the sound is way better. You will have to download the app for it, as it can be a tad bass heavy and distort a bit at max volume (knock #1). The only other issue I have had is the volume changing when someone else pairs with it. It does definitely fill a room nicely. I will be buying another one to pair them together.

I love speaker! I got it three weeks ago, and I've been using it almost everyday. The sound quality is amazing, its way better than my phone and laptop. The design is simple and modern, but it still looks great! The battery life is pretty long, I've listened for a week without charging it (a couple hours everyday). The connectivity is overall quick and easy. Also, the double up is a great feature because you can pair it with another speaker using the UE Megaboom app, and it can pair with the UE Boom too. Overall, it's an amazing speaker, I would definitely buy another one when mine breaks.

I bought the last one available on the Fort Lauderdale store. I was so thrilled with the sound and ease of pairing with Bluetooth that I ordered three more. The ap can be a little quirky in connecting the additional speakers but there is a mode in the party up option that makes it easier to connect a group of speakers. The sound is bright and clear, plenty of volume and battery life is great. Love the ability to move them easily from room to room or out on the patio. I wish UE would produce a companion wireless subwoofer for more base.

The Megaboom sounds great and has amazing battery life. The only thing that annoyed me at first is that you have to remove a cover to charge it and although you can use it while charging it's not really designed to lay on it's side. I got over that quickly because the battery life is so good that I only charge it once a week. That's amazing considering that in addition to playing music I also play white noise on it every night while I sleep. Sounds great. Water resistant. Great battery. Even the UE app is excellent and it's nice to be able to turn on the speaker with your phone. Buy it!

After researching and playing with multiple Bluetooth speakers, I decided on the UE-Megaboom. This speaker is easy to set up and use, sounds great (even at high volumes), and is waterproof. Download the app and you have even more options at your fingertips. I love this speaker!

I purchased this speaker for the beach since it is waterproof and that was my primary reason. I am pleased with the volume and the App for my phone. I may buy another so that I can have two that will connect via bluetooth.

Of the half dozen or so Bluetooth speakers that we have owned over the last few years this is by far the best for sound quality and volume. I'm normally a fan of the Bose, Yamaha, Sonos lines for my audio but I was pleasantly surprised by the Megaboom!

You have to be realistic with your expectations of this speaker. This speaker is waterproof and rugged with no exposed components. I purchased it for use at the beach. I have zero worries about sand and water harming this speaker. It's size is also very portable. It's battery life is long enough to get a couple days worth of use out of it. The speaker does have it's limits. Anything at the very top end of the max volume output will basically diminish the base. But that is only at the top end. That's about the only negative thing I could find with this speaker. If you're searching for great sound at high volume, you can find it in other speakers. But you'll be sacrificing portability, waterproofing, Bluetooth range, wireless power, small footprint, and overall toughness to drops/all elements. The downloaded app also allows you to turn on and off the speaker from your phone.

These are excellent for the price they are. They are loud and holds good charge. I have played them both indoors and outdoors and they played great. The only bad part is it does take a little longer to charge. It does have an app which helps to control the device. You can switch on and off the device completely from the app. I have tested it once in the water and it floats and is water proof as it says. I paid some $90 few months back had got it in a deal.

I bought this for camping and the lake. Good volume, durable, great battery, floats, waterproof. My only complaint is that I wish it were a bit louder, as others at this price point tend to be a bit louder and offer a bit more clarity on bass heavy tracks.
