This is a great sounding speaker. I know most average people go for the Beats by Dre/Apple but I gave this speaker a try and in my opinion it surpassed the Beats equivalent. It's louder, better sound and had 100 ft Bluetooth range compared to the 30 ft range the Beats speakers have. The battery in my speaker last very long, even played at it's peak!! I definitely would recommend this speaker so someone that wants clear loud sounding and crisp music This speaker is an A+++ in my opinion

As far as speakers go, this guy has unbeatable sound. Both frequency response and thow distance amazes me for being such a small package. Battery life is great even at full volume. It seams pretty indestructible and I can attest to them working fine after being dropped in a bucket of water. Using the app I can adjust the EQ which works pretty well. Instead of over boosting a frequency range it will lessen others to minimize distortion. With two Megabooms linked you can set one up as left and one as right to get great stereo sound for a party. When two are paired there is a small audio delay which makes watching movies a bit rough at times. As with any current Bluetooth the signal does drop out for a second here and there.

So I'm the type person who likes to listen to music while in the shower. My previous speaker broke after like 3 years of ownership. I noticed this speaker had gone on sale as a Black Friday special and boy am I glad I bought this item. It's really loud. It isn't as huge of a speaker as other models or other brands similar product. Also the fact that this speaker stands up it also has a small footprint in comparison to my Sony XB41 which has a large footprint and if you are trying to minimize space usage you cant go wrong with speaker. Battery life is awesome typically I can get a solid 4 or 5 days from one charge listening to about 30 mins to 1 hour per day. Charging speaker can be somewhat of a pain since you have to very precise plugging in charger cord. Overall this speaker is awesome and now I'm a big fan of Ultimate Ears speakers.

This speaker became so much more useful than I expected— the sound is really great, it needs charging so rarely that I occasionally run it dead because I forget that it ever needs to be plugged in. I don't use it at high volumes, but if I need it to, it amazes everyone for it's clarity, bass, and lack of distortion. My favorite surprise was that it has a microphone, so I regularly use it as a speakerphone with my laptop and/or iphone. Highly recommended— and very durable so far. Looks great with my space gray MacBook pro.

Great speaker for indoor/outdoors adventures. Really fills the room up with clear sound. I first bought UE Boom’s when they were first introduced to me back in 2015. Bought two for the link feature. They have been dropped on cement dirt sand water and still going strong. I did play them at max volume a lot so one of them cracs at times. I listen to everything on this. Music and movies. I have noticed a. Small delay when I watch movies. The sound lags a bit, slightly behind the action on your screen. Not that bad tbh. Did the same test on the mega boom and same. Has some weight to it feels strong and ready like a 5 pound dumbbell. I bought two to link. They link up very easy and it even has a particular sound it makes to let you know they are now linked. You can add a name to the speaker trough the app and change the languages and sound on it as well. Great buy

Compact, easy to use, great sound reproduction with excellent bass response, it can go anywhere with you! No distortion at high volumes, and will fill a large room with music easily! It is drop proof and waterproof! We love it!

I bought this speaker just over a year ago and have used it extensively on several occasions. I was easily able to bring this portable speaker in my bag on road trips and to the beach. It’s definitely a great investment if you want to buy a high quality speaker that’s durable and has a lot of battery. I could use this speaker for over 15 hours without having to charge it. Overall the UE Megaboom is an outstanding speaker that has been of great use to me over this past year.

Easy Bluetooth connect Compact with great sound Long lasting. Battery life

These are not booming but they offer a decent 360 reach for small groups or days at the beach. It reminds me of your basic boom box that you would take out at the picnic with 6D batteries. I noticed that the audio levels were louder from a computer bluetooth vs a smartphone. It was easy to setup and get going in minutes and because it's splash proof it would be good outdoors for fun of groups 10-15 people. I bought two since they were on sale for $220 each and have them mounted on photo light stands since the bottoms have your basic camera threads.

This Speaker has excellent sound. Cant wait to buy another and see how a couple speakers paired together will sound

Definitely a must HAVE! whit the summer season coming down this is a great input for your party at the beach or just in the pool area in your house. Pretty good Battery life, sound doesn't decrease with battery level going down.

My MegaBoom Bluetooth speaker is A#1 .. I've bought alot of Bluetooth speakers and this has the best sound of them all and it's completely waterproof, I've left it outside and it got poured on and it works perfectly! Totally Satisfied!

Absolutely love this speaker and it doesn't hurt that I paid $100 less than the usual retail price. The sound is amazing! No need for expensive components - this speaker does the trick! The set up connection could not have been any easier right out of the box. After listening to mine, my sister and friend got theirs too. You won't be disappointed!

Awesome sound with ability to customize the music. Wish I bought one of these sooner. Minor inconvenience is the location of the charging port and auxiliary-in on the “bottom”, but I usually have it laid down so it’s a non-factor. The screw-in on the bottom fits the standard tripod stands (ie that are often used with cameras). Looking forward to buying another to sync up the speakers.

I love that I can connect Multiple speakers. Leave one inside and take the other speaker out to the patio.

Awesome deal for BLACK FRIDAY! The megaboom has amazing sound and can connect with another UE BOOM to make a surround sound effect or play the same tune in another room. Definitely recommend for the price.

I had purchased more than one Bluetooth prior. And this has been the best one

After owning the smaller UE Boom for a year, I saw that UE released another version of the product that was bigger, louder, more durable, and had better battery life. The second I saw the differences, I immediately got in my car and drove to best buy to buy myself what was labeled as the UE Megaboom. Right out of the box, I noticed the differences immediately. The bass is improved significantly over the smaller Boom, the volume was reasonably louder, and the software was much better. The ability to turn the speaker on and off without having to touch the physical speaker is much more useful than one would think. I should also note that I was able to pair my new UE Megaboom with my UE Boom for a stereo L and R setup without a problem. I've taken this speaker everywhere with me and it's durability has been tested at the beach, in the pool (yes, I literally put it on a float in the pool and it was sitting in water), and under the burning hot sun. This speaker has never had any overheating issues and truly is waterproof. The UE Megaboom has produced enough volume everywhere I have used it. The battery life is also fantastic; if it's charged overnight, there shouldn't be too much of a problem with the speaker getting through the whole day unless you're blasting it at 100% the whole time. Another amazing feature is the 360 degree sound which allows me to put it in places such as kitchen island and hear the same sound from anywhere around it. Overall, this is the very best speaker you can get for the money.

Sound is good for a Bluetooth speaker. I like the fact that's a cylinder and the music flows through every direction and I don't have to be facing it in any direction to get the desired results. I wanted to buy the smaller version, but after testing this one, I could really hear the difference so I went for it. Range is great. I put it down in the basement and go up to the second floor with my phone connected without loosing connection. It feels sturdy and the fact that's waterproof is a plus. Battery life it's great, although I have not tested how long it actually lasts, but it serves my purposes because I don't listen to music all the time. I hesitated before buying this product because of the price, but after reading other reviews I was convinced it was worth it, and after owning this product for a few weeks now, it hasn't disappointed. You could probably get a wired speaker as good or better than this one, but the key difference is that it would be wired, while this one isn't. I can't wait to take it outside this summer! As a tip, look for the bright yellow charger before throwing out the box. It's almost hidden and, even though it would not happen to me because I tend to be careful, I could see happening to someone else where they throw out the box without getting out all the content.
