This speaker sounds great and is very loud. You cant beat the battery life either

Love the Megaboom best Birthday Day gift I've received. It has a long battery life. Works great for a job site radio. It gets pretty loud and very durable.

Among the wireless bluetooth speakers that I've owned, (JBL Infinity,and Bose), This one is hands down, THE best. It has crisp and natural sounding mids and highs. The bass never gets tubby, or weird. It sounds wonderful in a confined space , or outdoors. The battery life is, as advertised. About 20hours on a single charge. The supporting UE app is not necessary, but advisable, if you'd like to get the biggest band for your buck. I own two of them. I would have given it a 4.5, if the rating system worked that way.

I was going to buy the jbl, but after hearing the ue megaboom and features I was ready change an buy it. very happy with it, I bought a second one.

I use this while I deliver mail. I have to keep it turned down because it can get real loud inside a mail truck. Connects easily to my iPhone6 for wireless iTunes.

Great sound, nice battery life, useful app, and definitely waterproof. I tested it in a pool, and threw it in during the middle of a song.

It's is the best Bluetooth speakers that you can get for this price. The bass is a little bit low but you can adjust that using the ue megaboom app on Android or iOS. It is durable. Overall a very good product from UE. I have purchased the Bose soundlink but when you compare with that this has more volume. I am a big fan of Bose but I am very happy after using this speakers.

This is a larger version of the UE Boom 2, both speakers deliver outstanding performance. This model delivers more volume and more bass for the extra $100. Either model delivers an excellent sound, well balanced throughout the frequency spectrum, clean, and accurate reproduction. ( Is that a sax or a guitar?) Would recommend this series of speakers without reservation.
