Bought this speaker for my husbands birthday and he loves it. Very good volume and connects instantly. Very portable and you get sound from all around. Didn't disappoint.

Great sound! Long-lasting battery. No hassle Bluetooth. Excellent for pool, beach, hot tub, or even while shaving. Superior to other portable speakers.

If your budget can support a $250 dollar bluetooth speaker, I can't recommend this enough. But I waited and got it on Deal of the Day for $99 what a bargain!!!! The sound quality is amazing and very balanced across different frequencies and timbres thanks to what sounds like some clever digital signal processing, and its fully water proof up to 3 feet for 30 minutes! Battery life is also amazing, though not the highest in its class (but who cares. 20 hours. Lol). I have no complaints about the sound. Very solid and represented accross the spectrum. It feels exceedingsolid and tough as well. I have no concerns with using it in real world conditions. Rounding out the feature set is the UE app for ios and android that can turn it into an alarm, pair it with a second megaboom, and adjust the equalizer. I cannot elucidate how amazing it is to set this as an alarm because when ot goes off, you can just grab it and take it to the shower without missing a beat. All in all, an amazing level up to the UE Boom. Its a faithful upscale and if your in the market for a tough, element-proof bluetooth speaker that sounds great, this is going to be the best choice at the writing of this review. I overall awesome speaker I would recommend it.

I was blown away by the sound compared to the ue boom. The megaboom definitely packs a punch. Not a ton of bass but sufficient for my needs and I love bass. Outdoor use is primarily why I bought this speaker because of the loudness and the ipx7 (water and dust) rating and it does not disappoint. It is pricey but is also well made and sounds great. Overall a very solid product and am glad I added it to my arsenal. I would recommend buying the extended geek squad protection since there is no way to replace the battery if it begins to not hold a charge or you have an "uh oh" moment. Totally worth it in my opinion.

I have had the Speaker for a month now, and have to say that I am really impressed with the sound quality, volume, and battery life it provides. It is a little pricey, but I would compare the quality to a Bose.

This speaker is absolutely amazing. It has great bass and high end. It can fill up an entire room without any struggle. Being waterproof is great feature as well.

I bought this as an additional/upgrade to other smaller portable BT speakers I have. My Jawbone has been excellent, had for over 6 yrs & still works, but doesn’t have the volume & depth for larger parties & specifically outdoor projector big screen movie night. Rich sound, good battery life & the volume I need for applications. Wouldn’t replace my other BT surround & Appleplay indoor systems but that is why I have them. Would buy again. Only question is longevity as I just purchased. As mentioned earlier, Jawbone is still running strong after 6 yrs.

This speaker is packed full of sound. It is portable, water resistant , compact and has a great sound. I wanted this speaker for I am getting ready for work in the morning. As soon as I turn it on it connects to my phone and let the good vibes begin. It is also good for when I am just doing things like washing the car or giving the dog a bath .

This is my second one, but I still have my first. The sound is really full and fills an average room well, but I do presentations to large rooms on occasion, so I bought a second in order to link them and fill very large rooms. It worked even better than I had imagined. I love that you can make the linked pair switch users to let friends play DJ on the fly and switch from stereo to mono easily. The App couldn't be easier to use. Love it! Durable. I dropped it on the driveway pretty hard, but no significant blemish and still works like a champ.

I absolutely love this speaker! It has great sound quality and battery life! It is the perfect size whether singing in the shower, laying by the pool or kayaking! You can also download an app and link up to 50 different speakers( any UE speaker) using one phone at the same time. You can't ask for much better in a portable Bluetooth speaker! It is also 100 % waterproof!

This small speaker punches out a lot of clear sound, especially given its compact size. I would give it 5/5 except for my purpose, where it is carried by hand for 2+ hours it tends to get a bit heavy.

Best money spent in a long time. Long battery life. Clean sound and very loud. Fyi place it in the corner of your room for the (mega boom)

The quality is durable, sound is crystal clear and the different options with the speaker is unlimited. Waterproof is defiantly a plus..

So, I moved into an empty apartment while my furniture is getting shipped, and this little guy came to the rescue. The sound is big enough to fill the space, and was very rich at moderate volume levels. I listen to a lot of different music types and so far so good. Don't expect booming bass that will rock the walls, it is portable after all but it is just enough to add some depth to your music. I like to tinker on my car and this will get plenty of use instead of a cell phone, or car stereo, that is if my wife don't claim it as her's ( she will I know it...).

What can I say that hasn't been said. It sounds great, crisp and clear with plenty of volume. It doesn't change the sound with digitally enhanced bass, or processed effects, etc... it's as it should be, clean, the way the artist intended it to be. Plus, its rugged and waterproof to boot. Well worth the dough for this one!

I have been a long time fan of the UE Boom products. When I saw a friend had the Megaboom, I was immediately jealous. I have had the original product for three plus years, and have loved every minute. The Megaboom is SO MUCH more powerful, it's unreal. The depth of sound quality is unmatched, even when compared to higher end companies like BOSE. It is stylish, yet compact. We bring it with us everywhere. You can also pair two or more speakers to add more to your sound experience. In short: wonderful product.

The sound that comes out of this speaker is tremendous! The lows sound booming and the highs are dynamic. And the battery charge lasts forever!

$300 may seem steep for the speaker but the 20 hour battery life, 100 foot bluetooth range, water and dust resistance makes this megaboob worth the $

I just got it today at the local store, tested it before purchasing. So far, the best speaker! Good quality and has a good output. Great for backyard parties and entertaining. I love it!

Need a speakerphone that does Stephen A. Smith's blasphemous voice justice? UE Megaboom will do it. I use this device daily. You cannot possibly be satisfied with those tiny speakers on your almost 1000 dollar cellphone. Trust me, Megaboom is one of those things that once you try it out, you can never go back. The phone app is great too. If you are a audio book person, there is a voice EQ in the app which you can select. It's great for audio book and news. The bass is surprisingly good considering how the size of the thing. Waterproof is a necessity for this type of things. Take it with you while you are showering. I mean how boring is brushing your teeth and taking shower without music/news/youtube/podcasts? For overachievers, use it to study while you are in the bathroom. The battery is great. I don't remember the last time I charged it and I use it pretty often. I am still waiting for a good deal to get another one so I can link the two together for better sound. So what are you waiting for?
