Good bass, Clear sound Like the design, easy to charge, waterproof is key Glad I chose this over others in same price range

This speaker is made for the outdoors or large spaces, but is still great for an intimate setting. We used it over the holidays for entertaining, keeping the Christmas music flowing. Love being able to control it via the app on my phone. Can turn it on and off and adjust volume. Can also pause/play and skip songs using a tap feature on the speaker. I have tried playing an Adele song on the highest volume to see if it would crack (sound scratchy) and it took everything I thew at it. If you're a stickler for the bass, this isn't the same as a larger entertainment system speaker, but if that's what you're looking for you don't want a portable speaker to begin with. I haven't found a thing to complain about yet. Only reason for 4 stars is the price, but I got a great deal using best buy's price match.

It sounds great, gets very loud and seems to be pretty tough. A 17 year old boy has had it a year and hasn't killed it yet.

New U E Boom sounds great, waterproof and great for the beach, boat or patio parties. Big sound for a small speaker.

This speaker is really loud. I though the UE Boom was loud this is really loud and the bass it better. It's only so much bass you can fit inside such a small portable speaker so I'm content with the bass I get. The waterproof and durability of this speaker is great. Pairs with my UE Boom and will definitely pick up another UE MegaBoom

I have several Bluetooth speakers. I was refered this product by a friend. I typically a Bose loyal customer. I use it everyday while at work and while entertaining with friends. It produces clear high quality sound at all levels with variety types of music. I has an extreme battery life and is very compact and durable.

It's a great speaker for as small as it is and it's waterproof. It is has a great battery life and good Bluetooth connectivity.

This is a great sounding speaker! I was sceptical buying it but I am not sorry! The base and clarity is amazing! I take it outdoors and it is still powerful. I love it so much that I use it indoors as well and stopped using my Bose. Well worth the price. It is also waterproof, so it is great around the pool or at the beach.

Pretty great portable sound in a slightly heavy weatherproof cylindrical speaker. Charging port can be difficult to access, volume buttons are huge but only work when pressed in direct center. App is convenient.

I have had this speaker for a little over a month and I absolutely love it. I took it on a trip for a weekend and It was on for almost the entire two days and I didn't have to charge it once. The sound quality is most important and it is 5 stars. There is plenty of volume and bass. Overall I highly recommend.

Great speaker, good price at $200. I wish there was a little more bass, but it will definitely fill the room with sound and then some. Great for taking anywhere and super long battery life.

I was an early adopter of the Boom, almost 2 years now. Loved it, but always wanted a little more sound. Upgraded to the Mega Boom and am very pleased. At first wasn't sure if worth $120 more than Boom, but am impressed with the fuller sound daily. Best part is it still fits in the bottle holder on my backpack for easy transport.

Very durable and high quality. I've paired this one up with another Megaboom that I purchased earlier in the year. They combine to form stereo sound if that's what you like. They are experiencing firmware issues, though. The newer +2.x.x fw dissables the ability to pair up. Stay at the 1.x.x fw. It has survived a couple of falls from around 3 feet with no problems or blemishes. Looking to get another case for added protection and portablility.

This is speaker is all the hype. Incredible sound, great bluetooth range, best battery life of all speakers I did reviews on. Best part is that it's water proof. Great speaker overall. I bought it because it was waterproof and perfect for outdoor use near the pool. The battery last forever which is very handy when use as outside speaker, like I did. I ended up returning it and got the Onyx studio 2 which I think has a better cleaner sound, not as deep when played loud. It was also cheaper, better looking and i'm not leaving it outside at night, do not need waterproof that much. It is also megabig to carry aroud...
