a little steep on the price, but worth the price. this thing packs a punch! the bluetooth connectivity, battery life, and carrying strap make it ideal for hikes or beach parties!

With the limitations of trying to get a good sounding speaker that plays well with an iPhone , a trip to the display is required. Omlt the examples on display are all wired up to an external source. So we play them all and choose the best one for the $. The UE Roll made the cut. At home it will fill the house with great sound, long before distortion is noticed. It stays connected for two hours without further attention. Perfect for a streaming movie. Synching is trouble-free and the range is excellent .

This thing is loud, it's waterproof, it's small, so extremely portable. It is a great option and pairs with other he speakers to amplify your experience.

The sound is great on this. It has a big sound that easily fills a room. It is very simple to use and we love that it is water proof and very durable. Also very portable.

Got this wanting a speaker I could take on the beach. Speaker is waterproof and looks like it could take a beating, not that I want to test that out. It has excellent sound for most types of music, and the customizable equalizer in the app is very useful. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because on some acoustic music it tends to sound a bit tinny. After standing in the store for 20 minutes trying to make a decision, I believe I made the right one.

The UE ROLL has great sound very durable and I love that the size can just fit in my purse. It exceeded my expectations by its durability and convenience for hanging or hooking to something so that you don't misplace it. My granddaughters love to hold the role why were driving and listen to their Disney music it's been a greataddition to entertain the grandkids. I love my UE ROLL!!!!

I really like this speaker. It isn't as loud as its big brother the UE Boom, but it is excellent for its size. And like their other products, quality is awesome, both in sound and build. I haven't had a chance to test its waterproof rating, but have no doubts. The bungee on the back of the speaker is an awesome addition to its design. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this or any of UEs speakers.

I bought this Bluetooth portable speaker to listen to music at the beach. Considering its petite size (size of a bread plate) it has fine sound fidelity, good battery life and excellent Bluetooth connectivity. It does exactly what I wanted it for. It is waterproof so I can rinse the sand off. Perfect for my purposes. Also, it looks cool. Not important but a nice plus.

I haven't given it a lot of durability tests. This speaker is very convenient. The bungee is useful and great for my two boys. I can already envision it wrapped around a beach umbrella this summer. It says it is water proof, but I wouldn't completely submerge it due to the flap covering the charge port. We have used it in a mist and it has been splashed and held up well. The speaker is very loud and does have 360 degree sound. We have a large driveway and can't put it above half or it is too loud. I would definitely buy another.

Bought this for my 15 yo son. I have the UE boom and love it. The roll doesn't pack the sound like the UE boom or the UE Megaboom, but for the size and price it is great. He carries it in his back pack, uses it in his room and even when he takes a shower. Would be great at the beach to as it has a loop you can attach to your swim suit or swim trunks or even your beach bag. Very attractive in several colors and super easy to use and sync up to your device. There is a downloadable app too!

This Bluetooth speaker gives me about an eighth foot Bluetooth connection range. Its sound is remarkable even 100 feet away. 3 hours to a full charge and it has given me the full 9 hours of playback time.

The speaker is good, does its job. It's an inconvenience having to download an app for the speaker! I also don't like that it if I switch my phone to vibrate mode, or lower/higher the volume from my phone and not within the app for the speaker it disconnects the speaker from my phone. I have to constantly pair the speaker to my phone each time! Other than The above mentioned, the size is great, sound is great, the color is awesome! & it's waterproof!! Yay UE!

This is a nice little speaker. There's enough bass that music doesn't sound tinny and there's enough volume to reach everywhere in a decent-sized room. I got it specifically because it's waterproof, but the rubber cover that conceals and protects the charging port curls up a bit and lets water in. That doesn't seem to be a problem so far, though, so no regrets yet.

With both a pool and close to the beach we wanted a speaker that was waterproof, portable and had a great sound. This speaker more than filled the bill. In fact we bought a second one and since they can work in tandem we use one on each side of the pool and we get a fuller, richer sound experience without cranking up the sound and bothering our neighbors.

This is an excellent speaker. I have the the mega boom and because the sound is so crisp I decided to buy this one as a gift for my brother. It isn't only loud but it stays charged for long periods of time and it's easy to carry around anywhere!

The only way to beat this speaker is to sell it for even less. ... Oh, it would be cool if it levitated! It does not levitate. What is does is offer deep bass and top notch clarity from a small, versatile, and very well constructed body. This sweet sounding little speaker is waterproof and comes with a very handy bungee cord. There are so many ways to use this little speaker and it really sounds good. Can also get quite loud. Supposedly the new ones have a longer battery life. Meh. Haven't had any problems with this one yet.

This speaker is really great- for its size, weight, etc. it is great! Sound is very good, decent base as well. Battery life is tremendous- you can listen all day and then some before recharging. These are so convenient to move around, carry about, etc. I am nervous to test it so I haven't got it near water, but I like that its water rated. My only issue is within its app- you are supposed to be able to pair two of these together and I find that that ability is hit and miss. Sometimes it pairs without issue but more frequently it seems to fight pairing. My brother and I both purchased these- he owns a UE Megaboom as well, and we were just looking to expand our listening options/abilities. When they do pair up, they're awesome. Whe nthey don't and you only listen to one, its still awesome!

Fantastic product with big sound, great battery life, and I love the circular design! Another bonus that it's water resistant. Only think I would want would be skip and pause buttons.

Bought two of these so I could pair in stereo and couldn't be more pleased. Have taken them to the beach twice, used in the shower and basically all over. Very portable, good battery life, and sounds great!
