It's great for indoor and outdoor gatherings. If you get 2 of these, they can be paired to work in stereo. Great speaker!

Connection issues.

My main issue is connection problems between the speaker and my tv, which is connected to a google streamer. It disconnects or starts getting static after a few minutes. None of my other BT spekers have this problem. Works ok with my phone though, but I have other speskers I like better for music. I have a first generation model of this speaker that sounds better to my ears. On the plus side, UE is finally using USB C connections, so there's that.

Great Travel Speaker

It’s small and takes up little room in my carryon. Battery life is great and it really is waterproof and floats. Sound is crisp and clear. I do wish the bass was a little better, it’s weak compared to the larger models. I normally wouldn’t expect much out of a speaker this small however, the I don’t know that it earns the “Boom” in its title.

My fave speaker

I've also gifted this twice and the people that receive them love them!! Very affordable, GREAT quality, and very handy. Don't let it's size fool you it's a really loud speaker.

Small speaker, perfect sound

Battery lasts longer than expected and its easy to pair up with iphone as well. Of course, before buying you need to establish what your main use will be. It’s awesome for the patio or garage, or to use while cooking. It might not be the go to speaker for a party, though. For the price, its tough to beat.

We wanted to give them an extraordinary gift to be enjoyed individually or joined when they gather. They were elated. We got them each a different color matching their lifestyle and personality. Pairing more than one created a more party-like feel. The sound both indoors and outdoors blew their minds. They have since sent us videos of the kids dancing around, enjoying music indoors and outdoors. It was the perfect gift. Kudos UE!
