The game features highlights from many of the other games I played growing up. It has a lot of replay value and features primarily a race against the clock. I prefer this on 3DS format as opposed to Wii U because the games are so simple. Because of how quick and simple the games are they're perfect for on-the-go. You can easily pick it up for a few minutes at a time and put it back down feeling completely satisfied with only a few minutes of playtime.

This game is fun. I genuinely didn't expect it to be either. I bought it because it was a good price (especially with gamer's club unlocked) but I was surprised by how fun it turned out being. You play short little bits of NES classics trying to do basic tasks that eventually build up into tricky maneuvers. You do it as fast as you can and get gold stars that can be used to unlock more game categories and NES Remixes. The remixes are where the game really shines. They take a simple scene from an NES game and tweak it out. Ice skating Mario, Kirby in an underground scene from Mario collecting coins, Link climbing the tower in Donkey Kong. Its all good fun. I only gave it 4 stars because once you beat the game its just kind of over. You can always go back and play stuff over again but personally that doesn't appeal to me.

If you're a fan of old school nintendo and are used to quick gaming on the go, this is perfect and a must add to your collection. It's a collection of new takes on old classics in the style of Wario Ware. Perfect for those wanting to beat their high scores and appreciate a new challenge using beloved Nintendo mascots.

I love this game, as I am so an old school gamer. I find it fun and challenging. It had you completing challenges from the old school games, collecting a certain items from the games in a certain amount of time, passing certain levels in a certain amount of time, etc.

When I went to purchase this product I honestly believed that it was a bunch of classic NES titles that I loved. Imagine my surprise when it was just as the title describes, Remixed levels with new challenges. Poor research and ignorance led me to this game, but, overall it was actually pretty decent and fun to play. It was still fun to play the older levels while being presented with a new challenge to boot. I'm still holding out for a rerelease of NES titles, but, I'll have fun playing this in the meantime.

As a 38-year-old mother of six and long-time gamer, I enjoyed this game for it's nostalgia factor. My kids also enjoy the mix of games. We are all happy with this purchase.

Ultimate NES Remix provides the player with various challenges from many classic games from the 80s and early 90s. While some challenges are very easy, later ones require more skill and precise timing. Ultimate NES Remix may be simple to veterans, but to those too young to play these games on the NES, it is a great way to introduce classic games to a younger audience. Also, included is a sped up version of the original Super Mario Bros. which will be a challenge for veterans.

I've had a great time with this game. It's like Wario Smooth moves on the Wii but with less movement are mashed in with some of your favorite NES games in minigame form. This game is complete NES fan service and it's a great time. Its completely playable and really makes you feel like it's a pretty long game as you consistantly unlock new games and challenges. The Mario speed run is a minor distraction and something I probably won't go back to. My only other complaint is that there's a small delay when restarting a game. It would be nice if they had made that as quick as possible for when you are trying for a better score.

This is a collection of mini games that are themed like classic nintendo games. Overall it is a fun approach to re-experience those classic games from the original NES, but it does get boring rather quickly. In short play sessions its wonderful, but long ones...well likely won't be long sessions.

I bought this game expecting full versions of the old video games. Unfortunately, it was just little mini-games of the old games. Still fun and good to play with. Just rather would of had full versions of the old games.

This game takes old classic Nintendo titles and puts new twists on them. They take various levels from these games and make challenges for you to complete. The big twist is the levels where they combine games for challenges. You find yourself as Link from Legend of Zelda getting coins in Mario 1. It's a fun concept.

Great game for the old school gamer…this game provides an immense amount of nostalgia with a new twist. I bought the "New" 3DS and this was the first game I purchased for good reason…nostalgia and continuous replay value.

I grew up playing the NES and a lot of the mini games included brought back memories. The only complaint is I wish it had more levels. With the online leader boards it will be something you will play for a long time.

I've been a fan of wario ware since it was released a decade ago and this game is very similar to that. so if you're into face-paced games with a touch of retro NES this game is for you

This is NOT a collection of full NES games. These are quick challenges of old NES games. Some challenges are a combination of multiple games in one challenge. Very fun and addictive to try and beat your score or check your score against the world!

Super fun and addictive. Flashbacks of some of the best games of all time. A history lesson in game design that everybody that plays video games should take

Seems like it has just enough content of some great NES classics (and eShop links to them...), anyone looking for a quick nostalgia fix should grab this

I love retro games. Play quick snip challenges of old classic games. Unlocking classic games with new twists. Lots of fun and addictive game play.

This is a great game to play in small doses. It has leaderboards that are highly competitive so if that is your kind of thing you will have a lot of fun. Also comes with a free 3ds theme code, definitely worth using.

One important note - these are not full games. They are a series of mini-games and challenges from different levels of the classic games. Otherwise it's a blast and a fun way to pass the time.
