The lock was easy to install and setup. It is solidly built with a quality finish. (I have brush nickel). The Fingerprint scanner works very well, shake to open on Android also works well. One major negative I have is the fact that to view the logs you have to be within bluetooth range. The log is not downloaded to your device for review when not connected to the Smart lock. One should only have to be connected to the smart lock to update the log. Better yet WiFi access to the lock would make it an excellent product (5 Stars).

I've had this lock now several months. Having exterior doors without a deadbolt limited my options....I searched for several weeks and luckily found this awesome company. The lock was VERY easy to install. One of my favorite features is the multiple ways of access. Thumbprint (which is just so badass and high-tech), keypad, knock AND a real key!! (which I've never had to use)..I've already ordered two of the never style locks and bridge that have been available through crow funding. The few questions I've had have been responded to quickly and throughly. I highly recommend this product. Especially if, like me, you happen to have exit doors without a deadbolt.

Love the design, perfectly matches to my door. Installation was easy and simple, only took me about 10 minutes. Fingerprint sensor still needs to be improved but overall I love it!

I purchased this lock in December 2019, sorry for writing this review so late. I really like this lock. I don't have to worry about getting locked out. It is really easy to use. I really really like it. It serves my purpose very well.

I bought this for my house and just love it. They just released a new App that lets you add users and passwords. So no need to mess with the lock. Very well made product. Only thing is that the price is on the higher side.

...I'm not so sure whether I had a one-off product. The fingerprint worked flawlessly, and set up was average in terms of difficulty. The biggest problem I had was trying to set it up with my phone. Every time I tried connecting to my phone, it would factory reset the device. This meant a stranger could use their phone to connect to the smart lock and reset the security put in place. This was a dealbreaker and it did not inspire a sense of security for me. For the premium commanded, I would have hoped the product would have been excellent, but it wasn't. Looking around I found a worthy alternative to be the August lock. It costs considerably more and that's off-putting.

The best lock I have bought. Plenty of options to unlock with. The battery lasts about a year with heavy use. Easy codes to give out if you have to let someone in temporarily. Lets you know who unlocked the door at what time. Fingerprint is nice too. When you unlock the door, you have to give it about a second to unlock and then open the door. Love this lock.

I've setup two user profiles with fingerprints and it works great! Never even need to open the app. They do have a newer app not mentioned in the instructions so be sure to download the U-Tec app, because it won't import your profiles from the Ultraloq app discussed in the instructions.

Great lock at a great price! The biometric feature really makes this lock stand out!

Loving the keyless entry access now on my bedroom. I use figure print reader daily and it has not let me down. Pricey for just a bedroom, but very convenient should you hate fumblingn for keys.

Ordered it best Buy installer came to the house and said that they can’t instal it so I returned it. Never had a chance to try it bad experience considering I bought this over the phone and had Best Buy instal set up with the same person they should have known that the techs don’t know the product when the installer showed up he even asked me if it was bought from Best Buy.

With all the tech out I was hesitant to buy anything. I did my research and this was everything I wanted and more. Finally purchased and installed very easy. Work exactly as advertised. Plan to buy more of these.

Excellent quality, I install it a Year ago. So far working despite the snow, rain and all the crazy Michigan wheater!

I purchased this for my boss, he loves it. He can use his finger print to gain access(which he loves), he can punch in a pin code, and when he doesn't want to leave his chair, he can open from an app on his phone to unlock it.

This is by far one of the worst pieces of electronical engineering to ever get past Beta testing. This thing is awful. 99.9% of the time, it would take 3 times minimum before it would read a finger (and it didnt matter whose finger, we all scanned ours in an attempt to get it to work. I eventually swapped it out, new one, same problem. Then the electronic pad for the buttons would go in and out. Eventually changed to a different not fingerprint lock. I do not recommend this hunk of junk. Stick with something reliable like a Schlage.

I use the fingerprint option everyday and so far so good!

the app doesn't work unless you are near the device. it doesn't give notifications of who used the device and when. too many technical difficulties.

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone that has a deadbolt lock because you cant install it because it hits the deadbolt LOL.
