Love this! Purchased it as a birthday gift for our 11th Dino themed birthday party. The quality exceeded our expectations. The dino dig included is a very large chunk of rock that is actually difficult to excavate. The kids have been working on it for several days now just barely revealing bones. They haven't gotten anything out yet. Warning, it is a bit messy. As for the actual goggles they were made of a hard plastic. The app download is a bit large, so you will need storage space available on your phone. The app was entertaining for the kids and the goggles can be used in conjunction with other downloadable apps.

There is no focus or headatrap which makes it more difficult to use.

purchased for six year old. Since you need the cards to play this, I dont expect it will last long before the cards are misplaced. Its fun to go through the first time, but I also expect interest will be lost

The fossil dig was fun and the model is nice. The VR is a little difficult but overall very cool for my son.

I wish the case for the iPhone could stay on. Instead you have to pop it off every time. The game is mostly useful because of the goggles. You can use them with other apps as well.

Perfect for kids who want to explore and learn more about dinosaurs

Tje only thing i can say is the vr side of it is alittle complicated for some young ones but they can still enjoy the dig and build of the trex it was great value and fun

This was a great product for my boys, ages 6 and 8, to use. They enjoyed the 3D Dinosaur content, and the architect activity had them busy for quite a while. The only issue I would have with the product is the VR goggles seem a bit flimsy, and it is sometimes difficult to get them to latch together after placing my phone in them. They haven't broken on us yet, so they may be more durable than they seem. Overall, this is a great product! We also discovered we could download other VR apps and use them with the goggles, which is a real plus!

I was looking for this toy a long time ago. Grateful I found it at Best Buy! The price was extremely low!

The VR part of this is not good, obviously what can you expect for this price. The part my son and I enjoyed was unearthing the dinosaur fossil out of the clay mold, that was cool. I would recommend just getting the clay molds with the dinosaur bones in them and bypass the vr stuff lots of fun.

I bought this for an eight year old boy. I definitely wouldn't buy it for anyone much youngher. It was a little hard to show him how to navigate but he got it. He absolutely loved it and couldn't put his googles down.

My nephew thought it was the most amazing gift. He is 7 and fascinated with dinosaurs

I purchased this for my 8 year old son but it has very basic function, better suited for my 4 year old. Also, all the "bones" were all clumped in one spot so not much "digging" to find them and the skeleton had two left arms and no right. Can think of far greater things to spend the money on for them

Must have phone already, works better with android phones

First i wish the virtual games were via wifi and the computer not phone. I sucked the charge in my phone. While at first its fun because its vr, but each scene does very little and when you've gone through the cards there nothing left and we did the cards in minutes.

Great for kids under 10. The AR was as good as anything else I've seen. And the dig skeleton is very easy to put together

we were in the store looking around and we saw this and bought it for our grand son. he loves dinosaurs so he loves this little gadget, his having a lots of fun.

My four-year old who loves dinosaurs had a great time playing with this. He did require some help with the excavation.
