Love this series. Great story and great performances by the actors.

I began watching this show after being offered one free episode on Google Play and Best Buy offered the whole season at a very competitive price. This show is at times hard to watch because of the graphic content but the story outweighs it all. The actors are believable and at times it is almost as if you are watching a documentary. Jurnee Smollett and Christopher Meloni steal the show with their acting skills!

I was so happy when I walked into Best Buy and found this on the shelf! This show keeps you on the edge of your seat, and wishing the next episode was sooner. Great portrayal of what these people went through to fight to be free! Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Aldis Hodge are amazing. Can't wait for the next season!

I admit the first couple episodes were hard to watch, as an African-American woman, but man the story is awesome. I've watched many episodes at the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. The season finale was awesome and honestly makes me think its a true story, it's that good.

A co-worker told me about this series and I was shocked when I watched it. Who knew it would lead up to Hariett Tubman and the Underground Railroad. The cast did was awesome and very believable. I can't wait for Season 2. This was better than the remake of Roots.

I loved this. Plot twists everywhere and the acting was great. My favorite type of movies are those which tell stories concerning a period in history. Underground took me to a place in time and it was hard to break loose.

I loved the first season of underground Bought it for someone who does not have cable TV. I can't wait for the second season. And the person I bought it for can't wait either!!!

Loved this series! Was historic and realistic. Was happy that the slaves were accurately portrayed as doing whatever it took to acquire their freedom.

With a reasonable knowledge of Black History, this series pretty much hit the nail on the head! It is definitely a keeper for my Black History Library!

I liked very much,some content is real intense. The movie take you back in earlier times . Over all I feel it is a good movie.

I am glad the writers and directors sought to highlight the resistance of slaves pre-emancipation, which is often overlooked.

This is an amazing retelling of the underground rail road. John Legrnd brought an all star cast together for this series

Plot jumps around somewhat, but if you keep watching you are rewarded with a very interesting and entertaining drama on a part of US history that has been been largely ignored as weekly TV series subject matter. Looking forward to season 2.

This is a wonderful slavery movie. Aldis Hodge and Sugourney Smollette are wonderful. Please buy the series.

Absolutely fell in love with this show and had to have this DVD. Can't wait for the second season to start.
