Undertale is an amazing game with interesting characters and a captivating and emotional story. Your decisions in the game impact the ending, and it is interesting to discover the game’s various endings depending on your decisions throughout the story. The graphics are simple, but the experience playing the game is anything but. I’d recommend this game to fans of RPGs and story-intensive games. I promise you will not be disappointed.

At a glance, Undertale appears to be a throwback to 16-bit RPG classics like Earthbound. It is, but it's so much more. It's has a basic RPG backbone, but it's also a hybrid rhythm and shmup game if that makes any sense. For those of you that require a physical copy of the game, this is the way to go. If not, it's cheaper on the eShop. In either case, you owe it to yourself to try out this game.

This is a great game. I bought it for a child as a gift. She has played through it 50 some odd times. I asked her why and she showed me. This game is very deep from what it is. Old school gaming feel with so many different endings. But thats not all, there are different play styles also like passive or aggressive. The characters are pretty funny and entertaining.

Just wished the real earth bound was on Nintendo Switch like 1 2 and 3 earthbound beginnings or a remaster into a 3D design like what ness and Lucas look like in smash brothers ultimate character designs what beauty it would be like to see the earthbound games in that design type lol anyways I hope for earthbound 4 but I definitely highly recommend all the games Toby Fox makes this game will make you want more of what he makes and the beauty and attention to detail will blow your minds and if you have not played delta rune CHECK IT OUT LOL

Undertale is a brilliant and smartly designed game that understands well what makes a good RPG work; so much so that it can upend expectations and deliver something that’s almost a satire of the genre. It’s been a long time since we’ve played a game that manages to surprise so often and in so many unique ways, and even if it doesn’t look like much, Undertale has way more going for it under the surface. Excellently written characters, a genre-bending battle system and a solid soundtrack make this one an easy recommendation, especially to RPG lovers.

Lots of fun! Challenging at times but not impossible depending on the route you take. Multiple endings and the game encourages lots of replaying. The physical comes with a little pamphlet book with the intro story on it for a cute touch. There are some parts of the PC version that are inaccessible on the switch (like going into the game's files) but still very pleased. I've had the digital version for a while now and decided to get it physically as well

Not done with the game yet, but so far it's a wonderful experience, and would recommend this game.

Came from playing this on the Steam Platform and yes there are subtle differences but essentially still the same great game. I would consider this to be the Gold Standard for Indie games publishers must use for future inspiration. You can choose from 3 different paths: Pacifist, Neutral, or Violent and you will absolutely love the game regardless of which one you decide on. One of the best RPG style games available and had no hesitation picking this one up when I realized it was coming to this system.

I’ve played the game before buying my son a physical copy and I was super happy I did. It’s a retro styled rpg that has multiple endings but the true ending only appears when you’ve played the game as a TRUE pacifist! (Meaning: if you think you can kill people and then restart as a pacifist- you’re wrong!) I think that’s says enough in itself.

I found this game to be very difficult but my 12 year old had no problem with it. Pretty cool retro graphics too.

Great game with lots of replay ability due to the multiple endings. The art is whimsical 8-bit and the music catchy! I bought the physical edition as a collectors item, and am playing the digital version on the Switch which is the best console to play on in my opinion.

Absolutely loving this game, it is a tad challenging at parts. But once you get the hang of it, it is an amazing game.
