Having seen all the movies except Blood Wars in the theater it still made the purchase worth the price just to get the complete set of movies. Underworld 1 and 2 were great. Rise of the Lycan's was decent but I missed Selene. As for Awakening, it went too far into the future and copped out of what made the original 2 movies great, the Half Vampire, Half Werewolf, Michael. Blood Wars was pretty good, but not great, as it felt forced. It was very much like the first movie with the same kind of plot twists, in my opinion. It was nice to have Selene back and kicking butt, but this felt more like a set up for more movies down the line then it did a finale, if it is to be the end of the series?

This is a good set for the price. Honest opinion,...3 out of the 5 movies are great.

Let me start this by saying that I already had Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, and Underworld: Awakening on dvd. I also purchased the dvd of Underworld: Blood Wars. Yes, I am a big fan of the series. I got this set because I liked all the extras included with the blueray versions (how scenes were done, how costumes were done, interviews, etc). This series is different from your standard vampire and werewolf movie. If you like action movies with a gothic tone to them you will like this.

I've had this collection marked on my saved for later with Best Buy for quite some time. Best Buy marked the price down for it on Black Friday. I picked it up at a very good price. The lowest I've seen the collection too. It is great movie collection to have.
