Beautiful acting and directing lift this story of an unfaithful wife above the Claude Chabrol original. Diane Lane is superb, Oscar calibre, and Gere is wonderful in a performance against type.

This has always been a classic favorite of mine and I knew I had to own this on blu ray to add to my collection. From the storyline to acting, everything is absolutely perfect!

Diane Lane and Richard Gere are two of my favorite actors. Don't miss this movie! It's pretty good!!

Richard Gere reliably pulls off the role of her husband, and Olivier Martinez is entirely gorgeous and credible as the lover she can't resist. This is more than a "chick flick." It's a deep dive into human frailty, with a great cast and director.

Good enough erotic thriller with Gere and Lane in unfaithful

Had this on vhs and decided to upgrade it as this was a great price . A story of how being selfish can ruin so much but it’s definitely understandable. It is just when you aren’t thinking with the head ..

Love this movie Richard Gere and Diane Lane are fantastic in this one it's like another fatal attraction type of movie.

In any mystery, in order to accept the plot, you have to believe the motive. This one is stretched a little beyond believability. But overall, the acting is great by Gere and Lane and it does manage to keep you interested despite the weak motive.

While this is definitely a chick flick, I found it quite interesting. Worth the watch to see how it affects every individual in a relationship when one of them chooses deceit.

My girlfriend purchased it, because I recommended it, because I had already seen it, don't know if she likes it, because we haven't seen it together.

This was a very good movie. Richard Gere killed his wife's lover and got a way with it. I don't blame him. That guy was just using Richard Gere's wife for sex anyway.
