Great durability and talk range

My son has dropped his several times on the ground and have not seen any wear or tear on the radio. You can get up to 37 miles (sight to sight) in range to talk. But of course that range goes down when there are objects in the way, but nevertheless these get the job done.

Nothing to write home about

Anything past two miles with mild terrain (hills and trees) the signal turns to static and verbal audio very broken. Not impressed by them at all. We ended up keeping our sets (bought two) for job site communications. If you're looking for a true long range walkie set spend a few extra dollars and buy a nice Motorola. These are truly just toys in the end.

Great radios
