    This is a no-frills CB radio. It's main benefits are small size and price, without knobs for adjustments other than squelch and volume. I've used it for about 31 hours on the road. It seems to receive and transmit well enough. I chose it over the other bargain model because the Uniden's display is not as bright and less bothersome at night.

    I bought this Uniden CB unit after reading several reviews of other similarly priced brands. Dollar for dollar this one seemed better than the rest. After using it for awhile I have only one minor complaint. The speaker fidelity is a little off. Incoming transmissions are a tad muffled at times. That's why I'm only giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise this radio works as advertised and is in fact a bargain. Also it's compact size made it easy to find a location to mount it in my vehicle.

    We put these in our big trucks about a month ago. We only need fairly short range usage and it works great for that. I haven't tried it for long range. But it works great for what we needed.

    Needed to replace my old CB radio and did a search on-line. Found the best deal from Best Buy! And couldn't beat the free shipping.
