More than adequate freq range

This unit has a variety of options (AM/FM radio,alarms etc.) My 1993 vintage "bearcat" was much simpler with only scanning channels to consider. Setting up the unit was simple for any of the functions all of which worked. Good price for capability.

Just what I was looking for

I searched several websites and decided on this one because a few coworkers recommended it. I'm glad I made the purchase. Now I'm able to hear what's going on in the county so I know what I'm walking in to at work.

exactly what I was expecting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I HAVE BEEN FAMILIARIZING MYSELF WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WHILE I HAVE NOT YET FOUND THE CHANNELS I AM INTERESTED IN, I FOUND IT EASY TO USE AND UNDERSTAAND THE DIRECTIONS. I LIKE IT'S VERSATILTY EVEN IF I DON'T USE THE SCANNER FEATURE.

Great Scanner for my Home

There are also school bus calls .

Scanner for my Mom

not for police, fire and emergency services
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a great scanner for anything but police,fire, or emergency services since they have all switch to 800 mhz, and this scanner will not pick them up
