Attaches well to window. Haven't downloaded any video yet and the camera shows clear images during daylight hours. I will update hopefully with the 5th star after seeing the video

This was a Christmas gift. I liked the small size and easy mounting. Setup was a snap and it worked as advertised. After about a week the unit would not record anymore; I reformatted the memory disk without curing the problem. BestBuy exchanged the unit and the 2nd unit is fine. Pro: easy mounting, small size, easy setup, choices of recording resolution, file lengths and audio. Con: over sensitive "crash" recording (a recording interval which places the file into a permanent folder)

The Uniden 945, while not having all the bells & whistles of more expensive cameras, is ideal for the person who just wants the security of having a way to monitor their driving. The HD video and audio quality is great. The lane detection and parking protection are an added plus.

Easy setup. Has what a lot of similar items do not have-an on/off button. Most 12V outlets are continuously ON, & you have to unplug the camera to turn it off.

Good camera! However, the battery life isn't great

The first week I put this dash cam in my sons vehicle. He captured a tornado taking the roof off a bank Fort Worth. The quality was so good it made national news on CBS.

This is my first dash cam. Good pictures. Wide angle. Fairly simple to understand. Wish I had got the GPS version

Not a high end camera, but good enough to get the job done. Memory is a bit low but I upgraded the chip. Mounst easily.

Dash cam is easy to use with straight forward directions. great screen resolution. Use it on my daily work comute.

It records well and in good definition. However it does not get 5 starts because it goes into emergency recording mode often and will only record 20 minutes.

The video quality is good and will be very helpful for any accidents that will or might occur

This is my second dashcam. I use it mainly for work but every were I drive it is on.The camera has assisted be when a deer hit my rental, a rock hit the windshield and one traffic collision. Great quality even under low light I have told friends about this unit.

This is the worst purchase I had ever done in my life. I thought Uniden was a good brand. Purchased this Uniden DASH CAM 945 and it worked for several weeks with no issues. Than it started to automatically shutdown after a few minutes only using the cigarette lighter adapter. Contacted Uniden Support and they had sent me a new cable and still shutting down. Customer Support doesn't know about this issue. I don't believe this. But looking at other site reviews of this product they also had the same issue. I don't understand why Uniden Support didn't hear about this issue. Now they want me to send in the product for repair and I have to pay for shipping. It will take 14-20 business days to figure the issue out. This is crazy! If I had only known I wouldn't purchase any products from the uniden brand name. I wish I could get my money back for this item that I'm not happy with.

Was easy to install. Gives good video of the drive.

Camera works as it is advertised although it could have better night vision.

I purchased this unit because of it being designed as a dash cam, the GoPro is ok for it, but doesn't have all the functions of this. Lane Departure Warning, Parking Monitor and emergency and crash detection recordins are great.

At first it seemed to be more of a novelty. But it didn't take long for me to realize how helpful this little gadget can be. Amazing video quality, simple to use and fun to view. What happened next I never expected. This camera gives me such peace of mind that I cannot leave home without it in my vehicle now. I now know that if I'm involved in an accident where I was not at fault I have guaranteed proof. A must have these days and if you are lucky you may catch it on sale sometime, I did. I will never be without it again and probably will by extras.

Returned back to store after week of usage. Did not have night vision technology at all!!!!

I have no complaints for this device whatsoever. It has worked flawlessly for the last month. My only request would be to include a hard wire USB kit. Or at least a choice between the two. I've already seen some enlightening video from when my car was in the shop at the dealership.
