Love this classic horror collection. The box set and art cards are awesome (framing the art cards). The remastered HD quality is amazing, plus Creature from the Black Lagoon is in 3D (3D HDTV required). Awesome!

These are some of the best Classic Monster movie out there, I have been looking around for them without any success until I went to Best Buy and there they were all of my favorites in one box beautify done with artwork and on Blu-ray. A must have for any classic collector

I been wanting to get this for a while. The Best Buy i went to had the only copy, so i went ahead and bought it. Its an amazing collection to have if you’re a fan of the old monster movies like I am. Only thing i wish is the case to be steelbook.

My 12 year old son requested this collection for Christmas. He and the neighborhood kids have enjoyed this classic collection of old movies. Of course they are watching them on the PlayStation which just seems oddly funny!!

This is one of the best blu ray box sets ever produced. It has 8 classic horror films packed with tons of interesting special features. If you haven’t bought this I suggest you do.

This box set has all my favorite monster movies from my childhood. The packaging is also first class.

Like others, I either passed or held out on the previous collection / Steelbooks, due to price... Now, was the time to buy. This new collection comes in a really sturdy hardcover Slip/box, that encloses the digibook. It comes with some art postcards with the graphics from the afore mentioned steel books. Have not finished watching the movies, but I am very happy with this set. Pros: -Price -8 Movies, including lengthy, in depth Bonus Features for all movies on their respective discs -Packaging is gorgeous Cons: -discs slide into digibook cardboard sleeves, possible scratching or tearing of the cardboard could happen (?) -Old school format of 4:3 (square, with black bars on side)

This isn't technically a COMPLETE set of the Classic Universal Monster movies, but it's got the best ones (including a 3D version of Creature from the Black Lagoon). The Best Buy exclusive version of this set has gorgeous box art and cards by Alex Ross. My only objections are the cardboard sleeves for the discs (always high scratch potential), and that there's no digital code included (the individual movies all have them, but the box set doesn't), but that won't matter to most people anyway.

After years of TV viewing these movies, with commercials, I purchased at the time the VHS copies. The transfers were fine but were copied from prints that had scratches, noisy sound. This Blue ray collection is so superior, I feel as if I'm seeing it in the theatre. The careful digital copies are pristine in both picture and sound quality. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates these movies.
