I got this FM Universal transmitter because I'm a truck driver and I work in the oil field and I don't get too many radio channels being that I'm out in the middle of nowhere so I use a lot of online music and so far this is work real great for me...

My nephew just bought a 2006 Mazda which doesn't have bluetooth. This device lets him play his Iphone in the car. It plugs into the lighter and then picks up the bluetooth signal from the Iphone and sends it to the radio on an FM frequency. Very easy to set up and use. It needs to find a station that is not being used so on long trips you might have to find a new empty station once in a while but that's easy.

This product really gets the job done. It's handy for me since my car doesn't have an aux port or Bluetooth. It's useless for anybody who has either of those other things built into their car but if you're like me this product is for you. There is occasional static and the sound quality isn't the best thing ever but it works and is pretty reasonably priced at $30.

I got this to use in my truck because I drive about 3 hours every day and it didnt have a cd player and i like listening to music. This does the job but it's touchy. By that I mean that the connection is not super solid and every once in a while the sound is a bit off and I have to repostition my phone for whatever reason. But its not really that big of a deal so 4 stars seems right.

The sound quality that transfers from my phone to the speakers through the device is good, the sound quality has gone down, and the scanner keeps finding channels that are already in use, the price is alright for it.

Finally able to interface my phone with my 07 LS460. Only my contacts was able to transfer previously. There is a slight hiss that increases with speed but now all my apps are at my disposal.

For the price it’s not the best. It’ll get you listening to your iMusic and what not but your bass won’t sound the same and sometimes you’ll get static. Sure does beat a lot of local stations and advertising though!

Fm transmitter works great if it's the only way you can hook your phone to your radio. At times there's static. A nice feature is it gets it power from 12v outlet in vehicles

Pros: It is easy to use and has an average sound quality. Cons: About %20 to %30 of the time I had a disconnection or lots of annoying noise sound related to the around waves interference.

It does work. We bought it to listen to audio books stored on an mp3 player while on a long car trip. However we couldn't get a good signal to the radio from the front seat of the car unless a person had their hand wrapped around the device to extend it's antenna. That was the only way we could get reliable reception on the FM radio. We had great difficulty getting it to find an unused station or to tune it. The controls are really small an hard to use and didn't seem to work the way the instructions indicated though it could have been operator error. Give all these difficulties, we were able to make it work and listen to our books.

I was really hoping this was going to be the answer for a 5hr drive down to Corpus as the rental can did not have bluetooth. Sadly, it was not. The signal strength from the FM transmitter was not very strong and I got a lot of static. I tried over and over to use their auto clear station finder feature but it kept picking stations that if I turned to them w/o the transmitter on, you could hear another station trying to come through. If you are driving you can't keep changing the stations every 5 minutes or trying to manually find a clear one so I just gave up. I tried hard to like this for nearly an hour. I am returning it.

This FM adapter does a pretty good job of enabling you to listen to your own music on your phone through your car stereo. Admittedly, it's not the best quality, but to be fair products like these are already a bit of a workaround to begin with. In any case, it sets up easy, just plug it in to power and select a radio station, and you're good to go!

We bought this FM transmitter to avoid having to install a new stereo in my daughter's Mazda. She enjoys listening to Spotify and music on her cell phone and this was the best option. She really enjoys using it and has no problems with the transmitter not working properly. Great option if you want to stay with factory equipment but also want to use other equipment not intended to work with your vehicle.

I have an older car with no Bluetooth and the aux port broke, so the cheapest solution I came up with was this FM Transmitter. Works great, use it daily to play music while I drive. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 Star is that it was really hard to find a good fm station to play. The transmitter doesn’t go down far enough to the really obscure channels.

This unit is good for getting your music onto a car speaker set if no other options are available. I have used it to play my music in cars that have only a radio or cd, and no Bluetooth. You do have to fish for a solid frequency to connect clearly , and the quality is like a weak radio frequency with occasional clarity. But it works and is a great back up if playing your music in any car is a must.
