I'm a big kid at heart and this works great as a night light to give just enough light to see the room. No tripping no more. As for the song it's cool. Go to sleep in minion. Love it. To bad the songs not longer. Overall a good by. Seems to be made well

Fun Nightlight For The Kids

Cute and decent light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this at a Best Buy store on clearance for 15 and it was a little scratched, so ended up getting it a little cheaper. Would I have paid full price for it? No definitely not, but it is very cute and my son loves it. The light isn't very bright, but it sounds just like the minion on tv. Even sings that little lullaby. The lullaby has two different volumes and then you can just have the light on or he does some cute laugh and shuts off.

For my Nephew

When I saw this I had to buy it, the price was a little bit overwhelming but when I saw how much he loved it and the twinkling stars it portrays on the ceiling at night I knew it was well spent.

Also I wish there was a timer feature so I could leave it running for x-amount of time. As it is you have to push the button to keep the music and lights going so it doesn't help him go to sleep, he just keeps pushing the button. Cute but not a great night light/white noise option.
