The answer to the wired rear speakers problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to be able to successfully run wiring for rear speakers in previous residences but, in my new house, it simply was not an option to wire up rear speakers for my home theater system. What to do? I asked the sales rep at Best Buy about it and she showed me this kit. It's a transmitter that takes the rear speaker outs from your amp and sends that stereo signal to a receiver placed somewhere in the room. You then wire that receiver to your rear speakers. Works great! The only thing that would be better is to have self-powered rear speakers that accept the signal directly, but that would be hugely more expensive to do and, to my knowledge, there is no such thing on the market.

Sounds Great BUT can interfere with WiFi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying it works as advertised. It is easy to setup, install, and sounds great. We have it spanning 50 or so feet to power rear speaks in our kitchen leading to an open plan living room. What I don't like!!! I spent three days and then purchased a 2.4GHz spectrum analyzer to discover my WiFi interference was due to this speaker system. The trace shows a strong RF signal and when I switch off the transmitter it all goes quiet. Plus the speaker system shifts frequencies randomly, presumably to avoid interference, so don't be fooled into thinking your WiFi is fine after install. I noted two traces, presumably for left and right channels, at WiFi 4.5/12 and then it shifted to 6/14. Good luck :-)

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup for hooking up my surround speakers. I put these in my family room and it was nicer than trying to run speaker wire all the way around the room and under the carpet. Once i set it up they sound great. You would never guess they were wireless.

New Rocketfish Rear Speaker System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When we purchased our Sony flat screen TV in 2008, we also purchased the Yamaha surround sound system. Not wanting to drill holes in our walls or have wires along the baseboard, we decided to get the Rocketfish rear speaker system, too. It worked flawlessly since then. A couple of months ago we had difficulty connecting the sender and receiver, so the other two speakers were not working, Rather than bother with repairs, we decided to purchase a new system and are glad we did. This new system is so much better, easier to install and operate and is giving us the stereo sound we enjoy.

Fills the void
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very simple install for having sound for speakers that a wire connection would not be wanted. I use mine for 2 speakers on either side of the sofa which faces the tv and sound system. The small palm size amp connects by wire to your audio sound system. Each of the speakers connect to 1 receiver that is plugged into power at its location saving the need to run wires from speakers to your audio system. Amp & receiver communicate wirelessly

Great solution for rear speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hate running speaker wires? I know I do, and just wanted a simple solution for my rear speakers, why not make them wireless? So I did with this product and I love the fact I don't have cables everywhere to step over in my living room. I ended up running my left and right speaker cables underneath my sectional couch so they are hidden, and also stored the rear unit under the couch as well. My amplifier allows me to adjust the rear speaker volume perfectly with the rear unit set at 50% volume.

I will never run speaker wires again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These do exactly what they say. Surround speakers work great using these. I have always run speaker wire in my houses, and just moved. I am now a little old to be running wires, and did not want to pay someone. I decided to take a chance, and I am glad I did. I cannot tell any difference then when I had standard hard wire setup. I bought 2 sets. One for an Onkyo setup and the other for a Yamaha.

Great option for rear speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not want to try running speaker wires to the rear speakers as the living room set up was not really set up for that. Researched options, and the BB customer service rep suggested this unit. It still needs to be plugged into a power source, but it works great and I did not need to figure out how to hide 15 feet of speaker wires. It is easy to install. Very happy with the choice to go with this option.

Love This
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have top quality (Definitive Technology), surround speakers. Hooking up the speakers in my home was a sinch...I could run wires through walls, under carpet, behind floor trim, etc. to use my back speakers. I moved into an apartment a couple years ago and my speakers were left in storage until I heard about this wireless kit. It was super easy to install and, knowing the use of wires is the best way to go, I was surprised to find the sound quality is GREAT. Thanks to the Magnolia rep that came to my apartment and recommended this product.

Good wireless speaker option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got tires of running wires around our living room just so we could have 5.1 surround. This was a relatively inexpensive option to get the surround speakers w/o wires around the room. 1 unit attaches to your tv or amp and transmits to the speaker unit. The speaker unit is plugged into an outlet and the speaker wires are run from this unit to the speakers.

Right on target
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was prepared to buy a new sound system with wireless rear speaker capabilities (no wires running across the room). I previously had a wireless rear speaker setup but it had terrible sound so I did not want another one from this manufacturer. The sales associate pointed me to this "Rocketfish - Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit" and I purchased it. It far surpassed my expectations. It was easy to hook-up to my existing system and the sound is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to run wires all over the place.

EZ set up & Sounds good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit to replace an earlier Version of this product that stopped working after about only four years. Hopefully this one will last longer. What I like most about it is it's real easy to set up and The transmitter and receiver communicated with each other right after plugging it in. It's very convenient because I don't have to run wires from my Harmon Kardon surroundsound Receiver to the surroundsound speakers. It sounds great too.

Superb!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the easiest set up with my Yamaha receiver. My older home has plaster walls and an arched bare wood ceiling and no attic, therefore no place to hide cords! I used this to set up my Polk rear speakers. Its literally plug and go. I was able to hide my speaker wires from the component up and over either side of french doors. This was the perfect solution! My components are across from each other, maybe 25'. I've have had no issues with connectivity or sound. Very pleased with this purchase!

Saved me hassle of trying to run wires
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t sure how well these would sound and work at first, but after trying the wireless kit I’m glad I did. I can’t really hear any sound differences between these and using wires all the way. Maybe someone who is a complete audiophile might but I can’t tell much difference and for not having to deal with phishing speaker wire through the wall to get to the back of my room I’ll take the trade off. I’m definitely glad I got these and am happy with my purchase.

Great wireless solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t want to put wire all the way back to my rear speaker I read some reviews about this product that it is not functioning or has some interference ir humming and dissing sounds Non of these issues I faced. It is working purely and the sound is great on my surround speakers I heated the company will discontinue the production. It’s a shame I was planning to get another unit. Maybe I will soon just Incase it is not available in the future.

Worked like a charm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had rear speakers in the back of our room in a place that would be very inconvenient to run wires to. Tried this after reading about it online and am extremely pleased. It took just a few minutes to setup. Just setup the transmitter on my stereo system and plugged the receiver to the speakers. Hit the sync button and it connected right up. The sound comes through perfectly with no distortion. I really couldn't ask for more. I now have our surround sound speakers working perfectly without the wires.

Great wireless solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently moved to apartment and needed a way to have rear surround Speaker's wireless. Paid $400 for JBL transceiver. Worked great. When I bought identical surround system Klipsch) tried to order JBl transceiver. None available. Item discontinued. Tech friend suggested Rockfish. At first sceptical given the $100 price. Installed it works as good or better than JBL. Never thought I would say that.

Works well for what I wanted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently decided to get rid of the wires we had to back speakers in our surround sound setup. We are not audiophiles, so we just wanted something that is a reasonable value and gets the job done. It was easy to hook this up and the speakers work fine for watching movies, shows, etc. To us, the sound is good, so we're happy with this solution.

Great product with easy setup right out of the box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for a wireless option for my rear surround speakers after rearranging our family room when I came across this product. This kit was fairly inexpensive and super easy to get hooked up and working flawlessly right out of the box. Have been using these for a week now and the sound so far has been better than I expected. Would definitely recommend this product!
