I bought this to solve a difficult surround sound install. It solved it perfectly! I have no lag and the 25w amps are plenty for surround sound effects. I ran my receiver's sound processing setup and it recognized and set the room acoustics very well. No issues here - solved a problem that had stumped me for a couple years.

Easy to set up, no more wires running on the floor

The small transmitter box is with my Sony Receiver and the rear speaker receiver is hidden under the couch. No wires going across the floor makes for a much cleaner install and I didn't have to spend an hour burying wire under the wall molding.

Provides near perfect audio with little loss in signal.

Rocketfish bills this unit as a wireless rear channel speaker system where in reality it is much more than that. I was looking for something other than a Bluetooth system to get music remotely to my pool area and this unit can be used to mount speakers remotely anywhere around the home. I brought the signal in from my satellite receiver using its music channels to a stereo amp/receiver on the "AUX" channel then connected the Rocketfish sending unit to the "B" speaker terminals. I then took the Rocketfish receiver & Bose speakers up stairs on my balcony & mounted them so that they would play over my pool area. The result was amazing: great sound quality w/plenty of volume. The only thing is at the end of the pool session the receiver & speakers must be stored in a dry location, which is a small thing for all of the benefits derived.

So I have purchased two of these. The first one was for rear surround speakers. It worked so well we bought a second set to have speakers on our pool patio. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because on the outside set, if you stand in front of the receiver the sound cuts out.

I have been searching for wireless speakers for my system for a long time, probably many years. I could not find an affordable or practical speaker set that would accommodate me. I finally spoke to a BB employee who referred me to this wireless setup that used my original surround speakers. I was actually pessimistic that the sound quality and reception would make it work it. Brought it home, set it up, calibrated my whole system. Now I would never know the difference that it was wireless. you have one wireless receiver and one broadcaster. plug your speakers in the receiver and plug your broadcasters in to your appropriate speaker connections on the sound receiver component system. Real easy if you ever wire speakers to your sound system before. I kept the box in case I had to return it but I can see me using this simple set up for a long time.

Tired of wires and den;t want to run through wall. Easy setup.

Everything worked right out of the box. I use a 7.1 system in a big room, so there's very little audio going back to the rear speakers that would require hi-end amplification. This is working indoors about 25' away without a great line-of-sight. I have no idea how this would fair sending signal to outdoor speakers.
