I was looking to get a new wireless expensive surround sound because of the unsightly rear speaker wires. But an awesome associate turned me on to these to use with my wire surround sound and it works perfectly. Saved a bundle!

I can't believe this thing was released in 2009 from the reviews I read. Either way, the system works great. I just leave it on so I don't have to worry about turning it on each time I watch movies. It doesn't take very much energy to run.

A Geek Squad representative recommended this product for my rear surround sound speakers. The minimum requirements are having a power (AC) outlet for both the transmit & receive units, along with speaker wires for both of the units. There is also minimal latency, if any that I've noticed with this product.

This cool little device takes the speaker-level signal from your receiver or amplifier and sends it wirelessly to the other little box, which you connect to the speakers. The box connected to your speakers has its own amplifier. It's not very powerful, but it's more than enough for rear speakers or for casual listening. I wish it could take low level signal, from a CD player or even a phone via RCA cables, but it doesn't, it only takes speaker-level signals. Overall, a good wireless device.

I bought this model to replace the original version which I also own. The original version started popping in the right surround speaker when the system was taxed by louder sounds like explosions etc. I replaced it with the newer version, which no longer has the popping issue, but I get a significant hiss in the surround speakers even at moderate unit volume. I would say this is a little better than the popping issue, but it is still distracting to hear the hissing during quieter scenes. What I tend to do is turn the volume down on the unit when watching most TV, and then turn it up for movies with lots of sound design.

Works great and solves my issue of not running wires to the back of a room. The only issue is it runnings on 2.4ghz so interferes with my wifi. Not that big of a deal since my 5ghz channel is fast and less congested. Would recommend to any one that doesn't want to see wires or run wires through walls.

This is my favorite addition to my new home theater. No need to hide cables crossing the room. I haven't noticed any loss of sound quality, even with the units hidden behind a couch and receiver.

If you are an audiophile, you aren't going to like this. It's a nice solution to running wires across a room. On the larger side, but was able to obscure the devices without really experiencing any connection losses.
