I am using this to power the rear speakers in a 5.1 setup. I did not want speaker wires running all over the house. The sound is good and the range is also. I have even moved the rear speakers outside and the Rocketfish powered then with a wall separating the two units.

Got a new 4K Sony TV and Yamaha surround sound system and didn't want wires or holes in the wall for the rear speakers. This solved the problem and was easy to install. Best of all- it works!

The dog chewed through my rear speaker wires so it was time to try something new. The Rocketfish gives me great surround sound without snaking wires around the room. Don't forget about the volume control on the rear speaker module - it gives you control to balance your system the way you like.

I was tired of seeing my speaker wires extending from my TV to the back of my family room. The Best Buy sales person recommended Rocketfish™ - Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. The home base of the kit plugs into my receiver under the TV. The other part of the kit lies on the floor in the back of my room, behind my recliners; it is attached by short speaker wires to the rear speakers. Now, the rear speakers don't show ugly wires; their wires are hidden behind my recliners. In case you are wondering, the recliners do not effect the ability of the rear half of the kit from receiving the signal from the home base. The price of this product is considerably cheaper than other comparable products, so save your money and get this product. It does a great job!

I bought these to avoid running wires for my surround speakers in a finished basement family room. The room is 23'x23' with a drywall ceiling. Hookup was straight forward and easy. I was disappointed at first as there was no sound coming from either speaker. Checked both rockfish transmitter and receiver to make sure they were on and wireless single established. All was okay. Went into my Denon Amp settings and determine surround sound was off. After enabling, a connection was established and all worked as expected. Put on a video and enjoyed 5.1 channel surround. Thinking now of buying another set to hook up my surround back speakers to my system for 7.1 channel effects. Found that line of site between transmitter and receiver was not needed. I'm not a audiopile so the CD quality output was not a factor in my buying decision.

This was easy to setup and did exactly what I wanted it to do. Eliminated the need to run chords across the room since I have an older surround sound system. Sound quality is still excellent and I'm thinking about buying another one just so I can listen to music in other rooms.

I've been using this for about a month and so far it works as advertised. Setup was quick and easy. My rear speakers are about 20 feet from the receiver. Sound quality won't blow you away, but for the price I can't complain. Recommended.

Works very well for placing rear speakers across the room where it is hard to run wires. Sounds as good as when they are wired. Be advised that the rear speakers will still be wired to the wireless receiver unit so if you can't run wires between the two this won't work for you.

I was looking for a solution to having ugly speaker cables running across the floor. This is it. Easy setup, easy use, great results. I suggest buying this in concert with Rocketfish's wireless subwoofer kit (if needed).

I love this product because it allows for a mostly wireless surround sound system and is very easy to install. There is no noticable sound lag and and the quality is great. I would recommend this product and purchase the other wireless product for stereos they provide as well

I have a high end Def Tech home theater system with Yamaha AVR and I needed a way to setup my rear speakers wirelessly. I did try to avoid this product because of all the mixed reviews, but honestly, I’m glad I purchased this. For the everyday person/family, this product will be just fine for everyday tv watching or those living room family movie nights. I haven’t had any audio dropouts, distortion, etc. I would recommend this product, but try to get it on sale when it’s half off the original price, which happens often.

This is the second set I've purchase, the first was for my dad. Love being able to have true 5.1 sound in my home without all of the wiring. Having a newborn who gets into everything, my wife appreciates the lack of wires as well.

We recently moved to a new house with high vaulted ceilings making running wires for my rear surround speakers difficult. After reading mixed reviews about this product I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Most reviews complained about audio quality. The transmitter and receiver were very easy to connect and in a few minutes I had my rear speakers working. The audio quality is fine for rear surround speakers with no lag that others complained about. Overall I’m very satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a solution to connect rear surround speakers without having to run and hide wires.

Running speaker wire to surround speakers can be very expensive if high quality wire is used. It can also be unsightly or expensive to hide. This unit avoids both those issues with no loss of fidelity. Easy to set up and forget.

I had some older great Bose Book Shelf speakers that I loved. They ran off speaker wire and when I moved I was not able to run speaker wire to them. This wireless system provides the same sound and I love the volume control on the transmitter. Highly recommend

Super easy to setup in minutes. When I bought them I was wondering if it had to be used for strictly "rear" surround speakers. I'm using it for my side surround speakers and so far it has worked flawlessly and sounds great!

These made my life a little easier. I didn't want to run wire from the front of my room to the back. They sound great for what they are. Not sure how they would sound or work with bigger speakers.

Replaced my Samsung Home Theater unit due to it's "FAN NG" error. Got a receiver and wanted wireless surround... these were a great solution for not needing to run wiring! No popping or interference, and I live an apartment.
