I bought this to replace a previous Rocketfish which got shorted out in a power outage. My room setup does not lend itself well to running wires to the rear speakers and the Rocketfish is an excellent alternative. It's easy to set up and it completes my surround sound. I have thought about getting another unit to use as my second zone in another room.

So far no issues. Works as intended. Haven’t seen a big reduction in volume compared to my front speakers that are directly connected to receiver.

This adaptor did a good job of allowing to add an outdoor speaker to my existing stereo system for my business. Not ultra powerful, but perfect for adding a little ambiance.

Works great. A little tricky to set up but once it’s uo an running it’s fine. I’m using it to power a couple of small Bose speakers. Plenty of power.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I wanted to hide wires and move speakers behind my couch and this works perfectly. I was worried about a delay in the sound from the other wired speakers but there wasn't any. I also read about concerns with the high hissing on diff volumes with similar products but I haven't encountered any. I play them loud for football Sundays and am satisfied with my purchase.

I originally set this up on my surround sound unit because I needed it be wireless. We rearranged our living room and the way the wires would have been installed it would have been in the way and people would be tripping over them. This was (what I thought) the solution to my problem. I was thinking this is awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! The set up process was pretty simple and straight forward but shortly after it was set up I cut the volume up on the unit to test this out.. And man, I was disappointed. First, in order for the wireless units to pick up a signal you have to cut the volume way up. This is an issue when you have a need to watch movies at a low volume. Second, when the volume is not turned up, there's a hum coming from the rear speakers and sub. I'm assuming this is the wireless units looking for or picking up a bad signal and passing this through the speakers set up. Needless to say, this is a little annoying. It got so bad that unfortunately I couldn't stand it any longer and just returned the items back. I ended up going with a soundbar. Easy set up and cheap. Not my first choice of course because I wanted my own speakers to work and I wanted my sub to blow me away but that didnt seem to work out. This was very disappointing to say the least out of this product, but Best Buy always takes care of me and didnt have any issues returning the items.

I prefer to run wire direct but this is working well, had to reset the Bluetooth hookup once so far after a power outage. I also have a slight hum when system is shut off

Although the last one I owned failed, this product seems to be the only
one you offer so I hope this one lasts longer. It's performance while it worked was good though!!

Is easily hidden out of the way and works consistently. After a while you almost forget it's there because it's so easily concealed

So this does not magically make your speakers wireless but it does make is so the speakers in the back don't need to connect which make cable management a breeze. I read the bad reviews first and was worried but this thing works like a charm. It's clean and blends in well so it's not distracting. The indicator light is also dim so you don't have this blue glow when in the room at night.

Great solution and alternative to running wires to rear speakers. My only minor complaint is the wire connectors are for small (>18gage) wiring.

Good option for rear speakers

This is a good option if you do not want to run (and hide) wires going to your rear speakers. HOWEVER, like other reviewers have stated, there is definitely an audible buzz whenever the volume is turned to max on the powered receiver. While the simple solution would be to not turn it to max, it is virtually impossible due to its inherently low power output. IF running wires is not an option then this is a good alternative.

Used this to set up additional speakers in my family room, not specifically to set up "surround" sound, but as a sound/volume source a distance from the tv. I set up the speakers thru my stereo which is connected to my tv. and I've gotten great sound and volume - not quite surround sound, but close. Much cheaper alternative to a sound bar!

I have tried 2 alternatives with total dissatisfaction. I hooked this system up and no sound. I found that my surround sound system was the culprit and it is ridiculously hard to tune and stabilize. Once I tricked the complexity of my surround sound and the wireless speakers came to life, I was BLOWN AWAY. Thanks Rocketfish!!!! It's a dream come true! Now develop a way to Bluetooth a TV cable signal to rooms without a coaxial jack, and my television wish list will be complete.

Nice product you will have the cords because you have to hook them in to the rocket fish but at least you don't have to stretch the chord all the way to the front where your TV is
