Great product. Easy to set up. Runs my favorite bookshelf Polk speakers I bought with my home theatre system without having to run wires. Also, stays in "seek" mode when I turn off the stereo, so when I turn it back on, they come on too. I am not sure how much power it consumes in this mode, but it allows the receiver to be located in a hard to reach place and still work great.
Love it so much I bought several more for a whole house audio system in our new house, since running wires in the existing structure was not an option for most rooms.

Set up was not difficult and I was pleasantly surprised that despite all the 2.4 Ghz frequencies in the house, the receiver doesn't seem to get a whole lot of noise. I was reluctant at first given the band and thought that the 5.8 band would be better but this works for a fairly reasonable price. If I change my setup, I don't lose wireless transmission as opposed to built in wireless HTIBs.

Easy set up, no problems at all. They come paired from the factory so there's no headache there. Saves a ton of speaker wire for those of us who still prefer a full sound not available from just a speaker bar

This product is worth the money. I considered the around the wall wiring...too many little holes (for the staples) then I considered under the carpet...very timeconsuming and a lot of problems can occur. Then I researched this product and found that it may "hum" and I got discouraged but read of a simple fix to the "hum" if it occurred. So I bought the kit. It is very nice. Everything you need comes with the kit. I set it up and it sounded great. The receiver part has an amplifier and the rear speakers get a little extra kick from that which helps. Then I shut my home theater off and got the dreaded "hum"....went and purchased two 1 Watt 100 Ohm resistors and bridged the red/back for each speaker on the sender unit....problem solved! Highly recommend this product just do little research if you have the "hum." Dont give up on them because they are great!

I had not been able to setup my rear speakers since moving into a home with a huge living room. I've been looking for a wireless solution for the back part of the room, and HERE IT IS! Extremely simple to setup and it works. The sound is fabulous!

This product is great. It saved me the hassle of running wires to my rear speakers of my surround sound. The only problem is you have to manually shut it off and turn it in.

Decided to purchase this for a new home surround sound system I was setting up at home. Although I am comfortable running wires through walls, the room did not led it self to the installation and I wanted a quicker solution then spending hours in the attic and walls.
Installation was as easy as it could have been, controls are easy to work and sound quality is great! There are occasional popping noises that come through the speakers, but it happens usually once or less over the course of a 2 hour movie. Certainly not a deal breaker and somewhat to be expected for any wireless product.

Pay attention to the speaker wiring while you're hooking it up. It's easy to reverse the polarity (red/black) corresponds to silver/copper of my actual speaker wires. Keep it consistent and you'll be fine. If hooked-up properly, the Rocketfish works like a charm. I now get surround to the rear corners of my room without running speaker wires from the amp to the back of the room. I notice no fall-off of acoustics or timing between wireless and my old hard-wired connections for surround audio. This beats the heck out of fishing wires up/down walls and crawling thru the attic running speaker wires.

Good Solution for remote speakers

It was easy to setup and the sound quality is good. I was concerned that I might have interference with my WiFi network, but have found that they coexist quite nicely. I am using a D-Link streaming media player (DSM-520) using WiFi to stream music form my PC to the A/V system. I used the RocketFish wireless system to setup a pair of speakers out on my summer porch and it works great. The only concern I have is that the sender's impedance appears to be such that it draws substantial power from my amp. When I turn on the "B" speakers, the main "A" speakers drop substantially in volume.

This product is an excellent alternative to having to run wires to the rear speakers across the room from our DVD unit. I have had no problems with any hissing or pops from the unit (We operate 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, and a wireless router in the same room with this unit). It works well, as advertised. I have been very pleased with its performance. I would definitely recommend this product. The only thing take keeps me from rating it with 5 stars is that I would appreciate if the receiving end (the larger piece) was as small and discrete as the transmitting end (the smaller piece).

This product is AWESOME, it's great to just have it hooked up to the speakers and be able to have them where ever I want them. Currently I have it set up in my bathroom, so I can listen to the radio or ipod when I'm in the shower. I didn't need to run speaker wire all around the room and into the bathroom and up the walls. The only negative is that the bigger of the two receivers is the one that connects to the speakers (bulkyish), and it has to be plugged into the wall, it doesn't run on batteries. So I've put a shelf up in the corner to hold the speakers and the receiver, but there's this big black power cord that has to be plugged into the only outlet in the bathroom. It needs run on batteries to be truely wireless.

I bought this 2 weeks ago after moving into a new house and not having a good way to run my surround sound rear speakers. I looked at several true "wireless" speakers, but none seemed to be very good. Then I found this, and with all the good ratings, I decided to try it out. When I bought it, it was online only, but now is available in stores. It was a breeze to hook up, it took about 10 mins. It linked up instantly, and has always connected. Sound is good, no buzzing or humming or anything. I agree, there should be some sort of remote to turn on and off the rear amp/receiver, but if that is the only complaint, then I have none. Music sounds good, HD 5.1 sound is excellent, overall would (and have) recommend this.

Works well but watch out for Wi-Fi proximity

The purpose of the this review is to provide additional information for those who may have experienced Wi-Fi degradation. I voiced my concerns at the time of purchase because of the review I had read here but was assured by the sales person at Best Buy that there should be no problem.
I was very discouraged when, after installation, I had the same problem as a previous reviewer: namely, degradation of approximately 90% based on my DSL provider's download and upload tests. Just to make certain that I would need to return it and think about running wires, I tried moving by wireless hub 5-6 feet away from the transmitting unit.
Immediately, the Wi-Fi speeds RETURNED TO NORMAL.
Hope this is helpful.
