Durable. Nice design. A little bulky but worth it. For anyone who wants a little more insurance on their macbook, this is definitely the case you want. The case however is equipped with a clip that locks when the laptop is completely closed, so if you don't like having to use two hands to open the laptop, then I would stick to the regular cases. There is also the inconvenience of whenever you do close your laptop, you cannot have headphones, an SD card, or any external cable or device plugged into the computer. There are protective flaps that protect all the ports (except the charging port) from the outside when the laptop is shut. But overall this case is fantastic for anyone who wants a laptop that looks cooler than the average macbook and is tougher than the average macbook.

Wanted to protect by new macbook pro, so I tried this. Though I have not "tested" it by an accidental drop, it looks like it would offer more protection than any other product available. It does obscure the beauty of the machine a bit, but it looks pretty good - and given the mabook pro investment, definitely worth it. Only drawback is pricepoint a bit high.

In terms of build quality and protection offered to the device urban armor case seems to get the job done. I wish it was a little less pricey. Some of the older comments mentioned the issue where the ports were blocked when the case is shut, this was not the issue with my unit, it had proper notches for port accessibility.

It protects your mac book, but when you close it, sometimes you end up closing one side of the computer before the other. It could probably damage it over time. But besides that it is a great product overall.

This case is wonderful. I've had it for about 2 months now and haven't had problems with it. It fits just right, it's not loose or misshapen. The plastic is clear enough so that if you had a decal on the front of the laptop you can see it. It's also padded on the inside so dropping it wouldn't be any cause for alarm and my favorite feature is the front two corners of the case are long also to snap the case shut for a secure close. 10/10 would recommend and buy it againz

This case is great for someone who has pets. Don’t have to worry about it getting scratched or damaged

Computer for teens - very durable. Don't love how un-seamless it is to open computer, but love the peace of mind how protected the computer is.

Need two hands to open but is secure when closed offers very good protection vented slots on bottom to keep from over heating. 4 rubber pads on bottom to keep laying flat on table allowing air flow and keep from slinging

Great protection for my MacBook Pro, I have never put a case on a laptop before but with a Mac investment, I thought it would be a good idea. Doesn't add much bulk and it gives it that rugged look which I like.

Bought it for my son's new MacBook pro. He already had a couple of potentially damaging drops but the cover is so solid that there is not even a scratch, dent, or ding. Lightweight while built solid.

I like the feel and fit of this hard case cover. I like the fact that it's one part & not two like other covers, which gives that extra protection. Overall, I'm happy with purchase.

Overall its a good cover works for the purpose and protects your Mac. The only down side is its very hard to open the mac. If you open and close your mac to place it in your bag 10 times a day it might drive you crazy. When you close the screen it gets very tight.

This offers great protection for my laptop. Fits perfectly and doesn't add much weight. I liked this so much that I got the one to fit my iphone.

Hard to open with one hand, not pretty but it absolutely keeps computer safe, and that's what it's for. I would recommend this.

I have tried lots of Mac covers - none are great. This one is interesting, but has issues - you cannot close it and be connected to thunderbolt or USB. It is very hard to open or close. But, it does perfect the MacBook Pro

Got a good price with the four hour sale. Disappointed about not being able to swap out the hard drive or memory.

Great case, big and durable and protects the laptop very well. It's bulky but it isn't bad. Keeps the computer clean and protected.
