I paired this with my Audio Technica M40x headphones to use as a mic for my PS4 and PC. Voice quality is overall clear and it's very easy to install. However, you should play around with the sensitivity because the people I was talking to reported a very high pitched screeching sound every time I raised my voice (and not by much, either). This occurred on two different BoomPros. The problem was mitigated by decreasing the sensitivity. The cable is also really long which might be good if your PC is far away but I found it a bit cumbersome. The clip is also pretty large and you can definitely feel it when you attach it to your clothes. But overall its ease of use, good voice clarity, low cost, and versatility make it a great buy for anyone who already has a good set of headphones.

Works well with the headset. Clear voice on laptop during chat, clear voice on game chat. The adapter helps alot with the laptop connection. The fabric braided wire is great and makes it easy to maneuver on clothing. The clip to hold the wire in place is also good. Length of the wire is excellent, even though some snags may occur you have enough length to not cause any crazy rips. Volume wheel and mute switch work well on the headset. Wish it would amplify and make things louder...but not exactly a realistic idea. Sound quality is good. Outside noises do not interfere with mic within reason. As in i could communicate with background noise not interfering. However if i stood directly next a loud machine or where a fan is max level the soind of the noise would combine with my voice making it loud yet clear. The mic is clear and good quality, it's probably the best one out there, especially for the price. I use it with the Beyerdynamic Custom Studios and it's plugged into the Astro Mixamp Pro TR. The mute switch started being finicky after 6 months. Sometimes I need to push it down all the way, with force, for it to actually mute me. I'm not sure how common of an issue this is but once it starts to consistently fail, I'll exchange it with the best buy warranty. I do use this everyday for hours and am constantly switching the mute switch on & off. That being said, I would still recommend this mic to everybody based on the quality of the mic itself, the price, and the convenience it gives me for being a detachable cable.

The XS phones are some of the best headphones I've ever heard and used. The BoomPro also makes it a great headset. The Mic sounds very clear, great for Skyping. The quality of the cable itself makes it worth the $30 you pay for it. Highly recommended - replaces the need of having a separate headset.

I know that many people use this for gaming, but I bought it specifically for phone calls. I have phones that still have headphone jacks (Note 8 and Pixel 3a), so this works great with them. However, it also works with some USB-C dongles. It sounds so much better than any mic on any headset I've used, including some other wired headphones with mics. I like it so much I bought 2; I keep one at work and one at home. Highly recommended.

This was just what I needed for my new mic-less headphones. Rather than sacrifice headphone quality or mic quality, now I can have both without spending too much. The mic quality will ultimately depend on your sound card, but is definitely better than any cheap gaming headset I've owned

It's a great microphone extension for any headphone with a 3.5mm input. Beware that some of the headphones don't any detachable input cable or they have 2.5mm input. In those cases, this microphone extension won't work. It works best, of course, with V-Moda headphones.

The BoomPro is good for making any headphone you want into a headset without lowering the sound quality, something interesting I noticed with mine is when I mute it, what I'm listening to can be heard over the microphone.

These things are amazing, the sound quality and fit are 100%. I used to use a regular USB mic and my friends on Twitch would always complain, now after switching to these, complains no more and all compliments. Highly recommend this product.

Picked this up to use headphones I own to game with. This mic get’s the job done. It might not have the sound quality of higher end mics, but it‘s clear enough that you can clearly communicate with you teammates. Definitely worth the price tag.

It has a proprietary cable. I didn't know. It's good for the price, but I needed a double female connector to use my own headphones. Now it's solid. There ARE better ways.

I am using the boompro mic with my Phillips fidelio X11 headphones. This replaces.the stock cable which instead of needing an additional cablefor the mic. The position of the mic is perfect and it stays put where you place it. Very lightweight and comfortable. Sound quality is excellent. I use this for online pc games. Works great in every aspect, if your headphones have removable cable with no built in mic. Worth the purchase!

I have been asking people in my calls, and they say that sounds better than some cheap headphones that I have.

Paired this mic with Philips Fidelio X2. My ingame voice chat improved right away and my friends can clearly hear me.

I bought this to use it as a gaming mic. It's a great boom and the sound that it keeps out while you talk is great. But there is one major issue, where it mic boom plugs into the headset. It swivels and curves all on it's own.

Didnt work out for me but it is a great product. I had the wrong size input.

I brought my son. I think good present Christmas gift for him

Using on my Sony MX3 so I can voice chat on my Ps4. I have had no problems yet.
