Customers are saying

Customers regard the Crossfade M-80 On-Ear Headphones' sound quality as a major highlight, frequently praising its beautiful and amazing audio. Comfort is also noted, although some find the fit snug. A sturdy storage case is another appreciated feature. However, some users feel the bass response could be improved.

My use for these headphones is to listen to TV/Blu-ray while on my treadmill. My setup involves an optical out to headphone converter. Unfortunately, headphone jacks on products seem to be disappearing so I needed a little device that behaves like a soundbar with an optical input. OK, as for the headphones, they look nice and sound nice. I'm hearing impaired, so I'm not a connoiseur but I do like my tech devices to look nice though. And best of all, I bought the headphones on sale! I can't give them 5-stars because I'm not an expert. They are plugged into a Micca OriGen+ High Resolution USB DAC and Preamplifier using an optical S/PDIF to my Panasonic 4K video disk player (also a Best Buy purchase.)

I purchased these on the deal of the day for less than $80 and for the price they are exceptional. As on-ear headphone, they will apply pressure to your ears so readjusting is necessary for me. The soundstage is very clear with a relatively balanced sound signature. The highs are crisp and the bass is punchy. These would be great for working out or other similar activities. I wouldnt recommend them for long listening sessions(>1hr). Your ears will need a break from the head and pressure from the cans.

This are an impressive set of headphones. I have tried several cans in the $100+ range. And these are by far my favorite. Prefer these over any Beats and even the Sennheiser Momentums. Nice bass without being boomy, solid mids, and clean highs. And the build quality is amazing. These feel very strong and built to last. The only down side is if you have a large haed (as I do), these will be a tight fit and squeeze your head.

When these are on sale, they are the best value for on ear headphones. The best way to describe the audio is crisp. The only drawback is the lows lack some presence. On the physical side, the headphones look and feel great. Solid metal construction with soft ear cups and an excellent braided cable.

Just received these headphones yesterday. I was impressed by the sound. Coverage around the ears is good and outside sounds are minimized for sure. I don't love the fact that there is no cushion to go around the part that goes over my head. though. Perhaps, I'll get used to it. I also wish these headphones would have folded flat and came with a hard style case. The only case is the nylon string version that came with it. Overall, I think it's worth the money I paid.

This is my second pair of M-80's, they have beautiful sound quality and are almost indestructible. My first pair are still working and sound as good as the day I bought them 4 years ago. I recently bought a second pair as a gift for my husband because of their longevity.

This is my first set of on the ear headphones and I absolutely love them. I don't have any issues with the fit. They sound great and I love that the cable is removable for storage.

V-Moda builds a quality product and the durability and sound are great. Also have a pair of m100s and after I sat on them after they were out of warranty Vmoda repaired them for free! Great customer service and a great buy!

Purchased these to use as a gaming headset with my Xbox one and I love them. Audio quality is top notch and they fit quite comfortably on my ears. I have not had any issues with these since purchasing them. V-moda has always been one of my favorite brands for making headphones and they produced another quality product!

These are nice on-ear headphones with decent sound. They are significantly smaller and lighter than Vmoda crossfade LP which I also own. I'll be using the M-80s for travel. The sound isolation isn't as complete as the LP, but that stands to reason since they are on-ear vs over. My only disappointment is that the white plastic looks a bit cheap. Maybe the black is better.

My wife loves these headphones. She never knew Portugal audio could sound this good. These go everywhere with us. All steel frame and the sturdist case we've ever seen. They do not disappoint.

I love the sound quality of these headphones. I was a little concerned that they are not fully covering my ear but it hasn't been a problem at all. They are very comfortable to use.

When I received the package in the mail, I opened it and thought the headphones were super tiny compared to my beat studios. However I was impressed with the sound being on par with beats sound. The material quality is actually better than that of the beats.

    - I'm new to the higher end scene of audio but I will go as far as to say that V-Moda not only rivals Sennheiser and Bose, but quite possibly surpasses their equivalent products. This is not only based off of personal usage experience but also extensive research of product reviews. - Crystal clear audio of both highs and lows, solid structure and design both physically and visually. - Small frame design allows for comfortable fit even on my head which is quite large and generally refuses to give me comfort with similar small over-ear designs. - Quality wiring protecting which is all braided cable, both the in-line and ear-cups. - Strong but compact storage case that allows to be clipped onto a bag or whatever/wherever you choose to store it. - 1 star docked due to in-line cable beginning to fray under very light usage within only a matter of a month's time. - Exceptional insurance coverage under manufacturer warranty.

I bought these headphones to use outdoors for mowing and the sound was great but ran small for my head. If you have a smaller head then they'll probably be great but they weren't for me.

OK. Here it is... Sound quality is good, not great, it's good. If you like deeper base, don't buy it, buy Beats. Mid and hi tones are much better than Beats Solo HD. V-Moda quality is impressive. I'm not a fan of its design though. HOWEVER, I gave it two stars because it's advertised as PASSIVE NOISE CANCELING headphones and it isn't even isolating noises well... Beats, I've mentioned above never been advertised as such and are isolating outside noise MUCH, MUCH BETTER!

These headphones are comparable to Bose 3 and Quiet Comfort 15 that sell for much more money, plus they do not require a battery. The quality of the sound is superb for the $80 sale price.

These are my first pair of V-Moda Headphones and im glad I went with them. Their Build quality is amazing and I have yet to see this level of detail in any other Headphones I've purchased. The sound quality is great, I have no trouble listening to my favorite music from pop to classical and electronic. Plus they came with a case so its a win win.
