I enjoyed all four of the first Vacation movies and this one was a decent continuation of those. The humor was there just like the other films. It was nice to see Chevy make an appearance. If you're a fan of the first four films, you will be a fan of this movie as well.

Funny movie but would not recommend it for the whole family because of the crass language and some inappropriate scenes for children. I would not recommend this for some friends but would for others.

watch national lampoons vacation before you watch this to enjoy it more. if you ever wondered what happened to the griswolds all this time after all their vacations then this is it.

I always enjoyed the Griswolds' and it was fun to see Rusty all grown up with his own family on their own adventure. Both Ed Helms and Christina Applegate were great in this movie.

This is by far nothing like any of the previous Vacation movies! It is VERY adult oriented with a lot of adult references (if you know what I mean) and bad language. Don't get me wrong, this is a hilarious movie but it's definitely NOT for the family (kids).

This has the feel of the original Vacation, and all the new characters are well played and hilarious. The deleted scenes included with the DVD are a nice bonus, there was a good amount cut from the theatrical version, including some funny alternate scenes.

Ed Helms helms this hilarious modern take on the classic Nation Lampoons Vacation. As Rusty Griswold, Ed Helms sets out to take his family on teh vacation of their dreams... and then it goes all wrong. Raunchy, hilarious, R Rated comedy ensues. Enjoy!!!!

I think I ended up returning this for a different movie, but that is just because I am waiting/hoping for a Vacation Blu Ray package. In any case, this is a funny movie. You obviously can't compare it to the originals, but I think they did a good job.

This movie was hysterical! That being said, watch with caution. Not the Vacation of old that you could watch with little kids and cover their eyes for 1 or 2 scenes. I watched with my 14 year old son and another adult, and was boarder line questioning if it was a bad move. He is a big 14 year old and pretty mature, but I would probably say 15 and over for boys. I may be even more cautious with girls.

Although based off of the characters from the original national lampoons vacation, that's as close to the original it gets. F bombs galore in this movie, that being said it was still fun to watch and an entertaining way to use an evening.

My SIL requested this as a holiday gift. After reading the reviews on IMDb and Amazon, it didn't sound like my kind of movie -- but hey, that's what she wanted (and I confirmed with her DH). She's looking forward to it.

I purchased this movie because understood it to be a spin off of the original Vacation with Chevy Chase, I hadn't seen this movie before I purchased it and when I tell you it's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time that's what I mean . Chevy chase and his son Rusty did it again.....love it!!! some parts are not for children though......but seriously funny

We go this hoping our 8 and 11 year olds that have seen the original "vacation" movies could watch it...unfortunately it was far to geared toward adults to let them watch it. Overall it was a funny, entertaining movie.

Super funny movie! And definitely raunchier than the original. It's not a re-make of the original Chevy Chase "Vacation" but a whole new movie with now grown up son, Rusty, and his family. Lots of cameos in this film.

I had high expectations on this movie and I'm glad I didn't spend the money to go see it in theaters, this movie with me had its ups and downs, some parts were funny and others were just plain aghhh to be honest my only favorite part of this movie was to see Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo together as the original Mr. & Mrs. Griswold, but thats just me I feel they should have had more of the original actors/actresses in this movie it just wasn't the sambaed I can respect that they wanted to re-franchise this product but to me this was a fail. Again some parts was funny and others were just boring...

I'm a huge fan of the original...wore the VHS tape out. This one is a little more crude, but still has some funny parts. Really like the cameo with Chevy and Beverly D'Angelo. Also, yeah for "Holiday Road"

I am a vacation fan and loved this movie. My only gripe would be they used too harsh of language that will keep my children from being able to see it. I would purchase a clean version if it was available.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. After watching it in the theater, I wanted to add this to my collection. I am a fan of the original National Lampoon's Vacation series and I think Vacation fits right in.

Actually better then I thought it would be. Had some very funny moments & nice references to the original. I just wish Chevy chase & Beverly Deangelo had more screen time. Looking forward to a sequel.

I really enjoyed the movie. It was just a quirky as all the other vacation movies. I kind of wished that the parents were in the movie just a little bit longer. The behind the scenes and deleted scenes were good. It would have been awesome if they would have kept a few of them in the movie, but over all it was still a good movie.
