This movie is fantastic. One of my favorite anime movies of all time. If you haven't seen it, you certainly should!

It is one of the best movies that i have ever seen

I believe DVD has better picture but Blue Ray has better sound. Price was great glad I bought it.

Excellent transfer from VHS to DVD. I last saw this on cable tv about 20 years ago so hard to compare the true quality. I watched this on an Blu-Ray player with DVD up-scaling. The picture is clean and clear. Audio is good. I read reviews that this is better they the Blu-Ray release is quality. I went with this as the price was good and all that was available from Best Buy at the moment.

If you like vampire anime you'll want the D. D is a half vampire half human that can survive the daylight. D has a demonic possed hand that is witty and comical. Great action and is a good follow up to Vampire Hunter D. You don't have to see the first one but will help but the movies over 20 years old you should have all ready seen it by now.

Good storyline and wonderful animation for people who associate anime with weird drawings and cartoonish stories for children. The colors are wonderful and the voice acting is great. Oh, and this is not a film for children to watch. This is up there with classics like ghost in the shell and Akira.

This movie is amazing. The art is incredible. If there is anything to say against it, it's the english voice acting is stiff. But that is a very minor quibble, and doesn't detract from the overall product quality.

Love Anime, got the 1st Vampire Hunter D, and had to get it's counterpart, Love Best Buy's variety and range of movies, very happy with purchase, would totally recommend Best Buy for your entertainment needs.

This film is an excellent sequel to the original vampire hunter d from 1985. It picks up after the first film and had great looking animation. Bluray transfer looks great and I highly recommend for anime fans

Probably one of the best Animes out there (of course there are a few) this one is a classic, with hints of a world far in the future. Mechanical horses, mutations, and vampires, with woven myths and legends.

One of the best Manga movies is back! Based off the popular selling Manga series of the same name, Bloodlust is the most recent movie in the series, made back in 2001. Enjoy this beautifully haunting anime

i originally saw this movie on dvd and really enjoyed it. now that i have it on blu-ray, the color and details pop out at you. i am very pleased at this purchase because of the quality of the transfer.

Ive had Copies of BloodLust and The Original Vampire Hunter D on VHS... Both have gotten the Blu Ray Release they Deserve... Pick This Up if You are a Fan of Gothic Vampire Anime Horror!!

It is nice finally seeing some of my favorite anime movies finally make it to Blu-Ray. They need to pick up the pace on these releases though or the Blu-Rays will be obsolete

This was a good chapter in the Vampire Hunter D anime story but I enjoyed the first one much better. This is good for a companion video, to me it just doesn't stand alone. I say get it but only if you have the first one to watch before this one.

If your any kind of fan of this series I would highly recommend the purchase. For those whom aren't familiar I would suggest giving it a chance and I believe you will be entertained

I have owned the DVD version for years, and the picture always seemed too dark. The hd version is the way I remember it at a theater showing. Simply Fantastic.

Not a ton of action in this anime, but the animation and story make up for it in spades! Great characters, great design and a gripping story that won't let go. Not the best special features for a bluray, but in truth it doesn't much matter.

Unlike its predecessor, Bloodlust remains untampered with, and is visually more crisp than ever. Pair that with a competitive price and this is a gem.

If you haven't watched this movie yet and you are and anime fan I would recommend this for you! Great movie and so happy it came to blu ray
