My 2012 Corolla was feeling outdated and I felt like it was time the finally installed a rear-view camera for it. After some research I found out I'd have to get rid of my minimalist radio panel and shell out quite a bit of cash. Luckily in my research Vantop showed up! What a godsend! I thought I'd just try it out and return it at first but it turned into a fun installation project and now the coolest thing in my car that I keep getting compliments for. I love how cool it is for switching between a display and mirror. Really sleek and a true game changer.

Unfortunately this dash cam did not work for me. I could not get the front camera in the proper position for recording the cars in front of me. The camera angle is not adjustable and once I secured it on the mirror, it was recording the trees and the sky but not the cars in front of me. I looked in the manual, and I tried everything that I could with no luck. I boxed it up and took it to Best Buy and the associate there was also unable to help. At that point I decided to return the item as I figured I had a defective unit. On the plus side it was solidly built and both the front and the rear cameras seem to have a decent resolution

Mirror eliminates all blind spots. It better to mount the rear camera higher for better rear vision. When it is mounted to the rear plate all you see is car grills and not much of the traffic in the distance. Also, if you wear glasses for night driving you will find this to be an issue. It is like wearing distance glasses while looking at a computer screen. The rear camera could be better. In daytime, cars with led driving lights seem to flicker and at night they wash out the screen. Overall it is good but not great.

AMAZING!! I am obsessed with how beautiful the quality is and the installation was pretty simple although I had to pay a mechanic to install just because the wires had to be hidden and installing the rearview camera was definitely something I couldn’t do but it was worth it! And Thankfully I didn’t purchase the other version because of the touch screen because this one was touch screen as well! Tiktok made me buy this and I couldn’t be happier! I feel much safer knowing I am recording the road I drive on in case any other drivers cause any trouble on the road either for me or others.

Got this when it was on a discount and it's a good quality dash cam for both Front and rear. The screen size is large compared to regular dash cams. The video quality is also good. Easy to install. Definitely recommended.

I will give my most honest review. This dash cam system is what i was looking for. It is a rear view mirror display that doubles as a front dash cam, and it comes with a rear dash cam that doubles as a backup camera for a low price. The problem is that, my van doesn't do well with the rear camera. It needed to be a license plate holder back up camera. The front dash cam as a camera isn't too bad. It is 1080p snd 30 fps, which is good enough.

I like the Vantop Hf609T so much that this is now the second one I have bought, I now have one in each of my Vehicles. One is in a Mini Van and the other is in a 1988 Square body Suburban. The cable connecting the screen to the rear camera is plenty long enough for my full size Suburban, with extra to spare. The picture Quality is nice and clear on both cameras. Luckily I have not had to review the footage for any accidents but have used it to show just how bad people drive nowadays. I have bought them both on the Deal-of-the-day specials and am super happy with what I paid both times. If I ever need another one for and other car I may buy, even at full price I would consider it a Great Deal for the quality of the Vantop Hf609.

The mirror is great, the camera quality is nice. I just don’t think the camera view is big enough

I bought this item because it was on sale and it had nothing but five star reviews, which are understandable. The touch screen and camera image look good and the tech is nice. It was easy to install the front camera on the existing mirror and the microSD card worked fine. I didn't install the rear camera yet. There are quite a few settings and features, like auto-off, light saturation, motion sensor, and night vision (though I couldn't figure out how to turn it on). The audio is somewhat low quality. The video playback looks nice and is actually a bigger resolution than what you see in the screen. The battery lasted a good time after a full charge, but I don't really like that it has to be charge via a cable hanging in front of the windshield. When the screen is turned off, the mirror does have a good, visible reflection (though it's kind of a light blue color). It can shake a little depending on the road. Ok here is why I gave it three stars and why I'm returning it. I think it's better to have a screen in or on the dash instead of high on up the mirror. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but when the screen is on during the day and sometimes at night, the natural light or headlights drown out the screen brightness. There is no screen brightness adjustment available, only camera light saturation. I couldn't see the screen during the day and had to flip the mirror up at night to really see it clearly. I also realized the rear camera isn't very necessary on a smaller sedan. It'd be more useful on a big truck or SUV. Anyway it's cool tech with a good price that didn't meet my expectations completely.

excellent item to use in your vehicle but not if you have a mirror that has 911 on it. You would not be able to use your 911 on your mirror if you replace it with this item.

The camera obstructs the view a little. The camera takes a little tine to get use too and adjust.

Price and quality both good. Works well with most cars.

So so cheap price but quality best . My car Honda Pilot 2006 have no back camera this camera very helpful for me. Thanks best buy

Good quality, but it didn't fix my car brand! Looks well built but i wasn't able to set up because like i mentioned it only fix certain car brands

This product is a must have. I am very impressed with the clarity this camera has- also I couldn't beat the price. This item has been a life saver - with all the commuting between my son and myself this item was much needed especially dealing with different personalities on the road. I can honestly say I love having this type of security footage at my fingertips.

Gray mirror but again only downside is that needs to be hardwire to work when car is parked

Works very well, front and rear camera. Very clear views on both. Buying one more for my other car.

The picture quality is amazing the backup camera is good many settings east installation.
