I purchased this table through Best Buy Website. Unbeknownst to me, it was from a third-party seller. The item received was of extremely poor quality and not consistent with reasonable expectations. I attempted to initiate a return through the Best Buy app and received no response from the seller, Vecelo Group.
I then visited a Best Buy retail location to return the item and was advised that the return could not be processed in-store due to the purchase being fulfilled by a third-party vendor. I subsequently contacted Vecelo Group again through the app to request a return shipping label and, once more, received no response.
As a result of the seller’s lack of responsiveness, I am now forced to pursue resolution through my credit card issuer. This should not be necessary for a purchase made on Best Buy’s platform.
Best Buy allows third-party sellers to operate under its brand, and with that comes a responsibility to ensure those sellers meet basic standards of customer service and accountability. I strongly urge Best Buy to intervene in this matter, facilitate the return, and hold this seller accountable. This experience has been extremely disappointing and has negatively impacted my trust in Best Buy’s marketplace.
