This is great for the car. It really helps save the batteries which saves you money.

I bought this item bc was tired of my sons batteries dying while we were on the car. I was very excited about getting this. He barely turns the leap pad and it pulls out from the side of the leap pad. Very disappointed. It did it to me as I thought maybe he was being a little rough. So I tried it and it did it several times to me as I just turned it. Very disappointed.

Product does what it is meant to do. Only gripe is that it is pretty easy for toddler to remove the chord but not so sure if that is an issue with this product or the Leap Pad.

They don't have the right car chargers for leapster and leap pads yet for the newest models so don't buy this one although it does look like the Nintendo ds connector for the charge port but haven't tested it yet.

Though I have switched to the rechargable battery option for my daughter's LeapPad, occasionally we go on long road trips, and it's great to have this available to ensure that she stays happy and can continue the learning and fun without the interruption of the charge being depleated. Cord is a fairly good length for child in backseat. Good purchase.

It was a great addition to the LeapPad when traveling. No more are we there yet? When we are there my daughter doesn't want to get out of the vehicle. Time flies when you are having fun!!!
