I went to get a universal cord, but was told Tom Tom sold their own chargers. It fit my model perfectly and charges. Only down fall, the replacement power cord is a little shorter than the one that come with the unti.

However I do not see how they can justify charging 20$ just for a simple charger

Claimed to be a universal charger for all Tom Tom products so returned it. I would recommend it if it fits your Tom Tom GPS.

However my 5yo Garmin doesn't recognize it as just a charger it sees it as a computer connection when plugged in. No big deal!

Best Buy guy said this was the only cord they had that would work. Not sure if maps were updated or not but that's b/c I'm not the most computer proficient.

USB charger works for more than TOMTOM

I've had some trouble with the cheap ones not working anymore after a while and this one has been great.
