Venus and Mars has always been one of my favorite Paul McCartney/Wings CDs. The remastering on this CD is awesome. It makes this this 1975 recording sound like it was recorded in 2014, it's that clean. I have owned this album on the original vinyl, then CD, then Gold Master Audio CD, and after listening to this I was amazed at the things that I was hearing that I had never heard before on the previous recordings. If you haven't listened to Venus and Mars in this remastered edition, you haven't truly heard Venus and Mars. The 14 Bonus tracks are also great. Many show the depth of McCartney's musical genus as they include country, jazz, ragtime, and some great hard driving rock. I understand why they weren't included in the original commercial album, but they are not throw away tracks, they are really good. Lastly, the 7" vinyl single, (what used to be called a 45) of "Letting Go" is a great collectable bonus. Not having a turntable anymore, I probably wont ever listen to it, but I have put it away as a great collectors item along with my other Beatles collectables. The 45 is free, but there is a $4.25 S&H fee, which to me is well worth it, as it comes nicely boxed and protected. Bottom line, if you are a McCartney/Wings fan, this CD is a must buy and worth every penny.

One by one Paul McCartney's albums are being remastered with loving care at Abbey Road Studios. With these re-releases the remastering is the entire reason to rebuy. They have done a good job of making these remasters worth the purchase.

some great songs here...you know the music...as for the exclusive 45 it is cool to have I just wish Best Buy did not make you have to order it and pay 4.99 for shipping and handling and then wasn't able to combine the order with the other McCartney 45...

While I was seeking McCartney's Ram album, Best Buy didn't have it, so I decided to get his Venus & Mars instead. It's also an enjoyable release & still sounds fresh today.

I'm a fan of the wings era Paul Mcartney. This takes me back to when I had a much less complicated life. Good music and lyrics you just do not find a lot of anymore.

I first purchased this album when it first was released, but the sound was never as good as this remastered version. It is a great listen.

I wish I had heard this mixing during the 1970's when this LP came out. It makes the recording come alive. You really get the musical ideas from what Paul did.

I think this CD is terrific. Been waiting a long time for it to be available on CD again. Remastering sounds good to me. Bonus tracks are ok, mostly filler.

I only bought this for the single. Was disappointed that you had to open the CD to get a card out and had to go on line to receive it. You also had to pay $4 shipping. I personally think it would've been much better id they had the singles in store. After purchase you could go to the customer service area with your CD and receipt and pick up the single at no extra charge.

This CD is one of their greatest albums ever recorded.The sounds and melodies are MaCartney's finest.

I wore out my tape of venus and mars, been waiting years for it to be released on cd, just great.

This was one of the best Xmas gifts by far! I just love this and could listen to it FOREVER!!

This might be McCartney & Wings best album. It is full of classic rock hits!
