The Verizon Hotspot works great. :) I can connect up to the web just about anywhere. It's easy to use and easy to add data. I like it and have used it quite a bit. It's a nice alternative to having a hard wired ISP access point.

I have a grandfather Verizon unlimited data plan and don't want to pay the extra $30 monthly. When I put my phone's sim card in this bad boy, I instantly have hotspot to my other devices with unlimited data. Yes it works!

The product works just fine. I did fine the service through Verizon to be very bad. I would not recommend Verizon service to anyone. The reason I would not recommend the product to a friend is because of Verizon. I will do my best to get the word out about Verizon service and the way they do business. If I could switch the product to a different service I would.

The Ellipsis Jetpack works very well providing a Wi-Fi connection. Set-up was a little cumbersome, however, and I can't get information from the "data usage" function. Both of the above concerns could be unrelated to the quality of the product and attributable instead to "user error."

I needed something to get WiFi while I was away from home for 6 weeks. The Best Buy associate showed me this and it is perfect! Powers up and connects to my devices quickly. Let's me log on to a website and see my remaining prepaid data whenever I need to check the balance. Fast, reliable and secure.

I purchased this mobile hotspot since I did not need to sign up for a contract. The only problem I had was during setup, I called customer service and apparently the unit was not activated at the store to show it had been purchased, so while I was on travel I had to go to a different best buy to get assistance. Once the sales person told the Verizon customer service rep that I indeed purchased the unit, I was able to setup the device to receive internet service using the prepaid data cards. You will need to create an account online after a phone number is provided if you plan to just purchase prepaid data cards. I rated this four stars, since the clerk where I purchased the unit did not activate the unit by providing me additional information that I would need.

I had a difficult time online trying to verify my usage. I'd purchased the $15 (expired in 7 days) plan before I went on vacation. Once at my destination, I logged on and there was a message stating I had no plan, so I purchased another one (a very bad mistake on my part). I was able to use the plan very little. A terrible waste of $30. I recommend that instead of putting a time limit on these plans, allow them to play out the data usage instead.
The product itself seemed to work fine once I purchased an additional plan. I did have major issues with it finding a connection.

50% battery out of the box, lasted about 2-3 hours, better internet speed than my dormitory so I was fine. Once you create a user and password you are able to change the name and password of the Wifi as well as type and how much people can connect to it at the same time so it was nice.

I have owned a prior Jetpack, the only issue that I had is it would not connect to someone that had At&t service. Any suggestions?
