The phone didnt even fully function until the 30 day prepaid plan was due to expire.front display stopped working after two weeks, took forever to get it activated. My husband decided to go back to his other flip phone bc of the poor quality of this one.

Now I'm mainly an android user. I haven't had a flip phone in ages. So I decided to take a chance on the ZTE Cymbal LTE. And if anything its def a back up phone for sure. But its a lot better than the Samsung Gusto 3 phone. MUCH larger 2.8 inch screen. Its a much bigger screen than you realize if youre not used to a big screen. Theres also 4GB of memory HOWEVER, when checking the ACTUAL memory its about 1.25-1.26GB of memory. But either way that's awesome for a flip phone. And theres 512MB of RAM. That's awesome most basic flip phones don't even have that much ram. And theres It has a 2MP camera which is actually not that bad. It can even record up to 720p HD. Yes it not only takes pictures but ALSO takes video. That totally surprised me. The quality of the video and pictures knowing that its a flip phone actually surprised me. Not bad quality. Now some people with no brains will prob say the camera is total garbage and this and that and don't have the brain cells to realize its a flip phone and not an android phone with more advanced cameras. Also theres few options for picture/video resolutions which is nice and other picture options for your liking. Now whats really neat about this ZTE phone is that the menus and the Settings are very android-like. Meaning how youd see them on an android phone are very similar. Obviously not the same but it makes it feels like an android experience. Now heres the other neat thing that I didn't expect. Below the 4-way directional buttons you three buttons right above the keypad. From left to right you have what looks like two windows, those are Recent windows. Pretty cool. Just like an android phone. And you use the Up and Down navigational buttons to sort through then and a button to click Clear All. The camera is in the middle and then the Clear/go back button. Very simple phone. In terms of speed its a Snapdragon 210 1.1ghz processor. Pretty awesome. Some lag but nothing major. There is HD Voice but never really tried that. I made a call or two and the quality is outstanding I think. Sending texts and pics takes almost no time at all. Now as for the My Verizon app don't bother. It wont let you get into it. I tried many times. Youd have to use your PC to get on your account. The internet is a little slow but not bad for an LTE phone. As for basic phone plans? like the $30 plan? forget it. Because its an LTE phone you're only gonna be able to get the $40 and up android plans. Fine by me. Anyways its an amazing phone. Oh and the 1,500 mAh battery does last. Whether youre new to phones or want something for your kid and don't want them with an android phone this will work excellent. Does the basics. Nothing complicated. Or you want something basic and don't want the expensive phones. This will work great for you. Its def worth it in my opinion.

Too slow. For being a flip phone it’s too complicated and non of the contacts transferred over from the old phone.

This is probably the worst phone I've picked up in 5 years or more. Not intuitive. Complicated menu. Very slow to respond to selections. I'm surprised at all the decent ratings. It's almost like they are reviewing a different phone. Rather than get this phone, I would switch carriers. This is for my mother and it has made her so stressed out. I'm pretty tech savvy and I hate the thing.

I've had a number of phones, both clamshell and smart, but this "phone" is not even sufficient to make/receive phone calls! Everything sounds garbled - voicemail, calls, etc. It is not a carrier/reception issue. Would not recommend you buy this for any reason.

I really don't see the point of going back to the early 90s in technology I mean did a group of old people get together and demands back with the flip phones or something what's going on I'm very confused you're supposed to move technology forward not backwards come on guys
