So ok great telephone but only 8gigabites of storage by the way people it says 8 gigs not 16 in the description I run out of storage fast. The camera is good until the glare catches the screen. Other than these downs they can help it's a good phone. ☺

    Great Smart Phone

I like this smart phone because it's an affordable Samsung Galaxy, it's like the poor man's Galaxy. It basically has all the features, and operating system as phones x3 it's price. I like how fast it is, how well it keeps up with me when I am going in, and our the chrome tabs. Like all phones, I recommend adding a mini SD card for extra storage. I originally purchased this cell to play Pokemon go on, and later switched carriers completely to make it my primary phone.

Bought the J3 to replace an aging T-Mobile Motorola I have had for the last five years yesterday at best buy. I would suggest letting the best buy crew register it for you in store, excellent customer service. The camera is okay, and if all your going to do is post pictures on facebook is all you need. I have a 16GB scan disk card in it now and will eventually buy a 128GB scan disk card to replace it. It has some of the latest Google Software, the processor is fast enough on 4G. All the way around an excellent value for the money if your not to much of a Geek. Hoping to get better service with Verizon with this Samsung than other carriers like Cricket who sell the same phone under the name of the Sole.

Best bang for buck cheap smartphone

This phone has less memory than the same phone from other carriers, its also $40 cheaper and on a much better network. The price difference is because this model has 8gb memory compared to the 16gb from the other carriers, however you can buy a 64gb microSD card for less than HALF of the price difference in the other phones on the weaker networks, making the hit in memory irrelevant. The phone is awesome, the specs are great for the price, does everything you need a smartphone to do.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy J3 at best buy on Tuesday July 5th 2016 for $59. An awesome sale price for a phone like this. Ive gone through way too many phones this year because some are good and some are not so good. I'm coming from the ZMAX2 gophone and the J3 phone is better for me. Anyways The 5.0" Super AMOLED Display is awesome to look at. very beautiful colors. The Galaxy J3 phone has 8GB of internal memory. About 3.47 to about 3.55 GB left to the user. Not a lot especially if you're someone who loves to download a lot of apps. I don't so it's no big deal to me. I use a 32GB microSD card so it's whatever to me. Anyways battery life is excellent in my opinion. Lasts for quite a long time. Camera quality? fantastic in my eyes. Better than the ZMAX2 phone. Takes pictures very clear for me and takes them very quick. Plenty of resolution options. 5 of them I believe. and 3 video recording options. Takes 720p 30fps video clips in stereo sound. Did some testing and sound quality was amazing. Phone has a 1.2ghz Snapdragon 410 processor with about 1.5GB of ram so the phone runs very smoothly. Never had an issue with crashes or freezes or anything. Also call quality is VERY good. 8.5 to a 9 out of 10 for me and that's very high in my book. People heard me very clearly without any issues. Also WiFi is also very strong. No dropped signal whatsoever. Also YouTube videos played in 720p for me but it also depends on what that video supports. Not all videos are 720p. Speaker gets pretty decently loud for sound. But its very nice. Anyways I have a 21min long review of the Samsung Galaxy J3 on my YouTube channel Reaper2065. Please check it out and ask any and all questions you may have about the phone. Thank you.

I've had this phone for two months now and it has not disappointed for the most part, it is an excellent buy for the money for prepaid users. Make sure you buy a micro disc card for extra storage, I have a 32 gig and still have half left after adding my music and pics. I use the built in Google Maps all the time now instead of my GPS, and coverage (Verizon) and service were good on my trip to CA/NV/AZ. The only drawback I have is the speed of the camera taking pics(it's a digital thing) but the quality is excellent. I have not downloaded a lot of apps, so the 8 gig internal storage still has some room, so if you do a lot of apps, you may think of getting the 16 gig internal storage version, otherwise, I'm very happy with this phone.

    Great phone for prepaid Verizom

Best choice for prepaid Verizon. With not much to choose from with a prepaid plan, was happy to find a Samsung Galaxy. This phone has everything I could want. Bought a 32 gig sd card, so storage issues solved. Amazing difference from my old prepaid phone. Can't imagine why I didn't get this sooner. Awesome screen resolution, easy use & no longer feel like I have to compromise by having to use a prepaid phone. Verizon, hands down, the best network for those of us who live in more remote areas. It gives me joy to have friends with high end phones connected with all other carriers borrow mine because they can't get a signal.

This phone has a lot of great things about it. Great picture, comfortable to hold. There just is not enough storage and the option of using an Sd card doesn't seem to free up enough space to add many gaming apps.

I bought this phone as a replacement and I could not be more pleased. This is a great phone for the money. It has a lot of extra's that you will find in a more expensive phone. Does everything that I need in a cell phone at a good price.

I bought this phone about 8 months ago. It has worked well and I would be very pleased except that 8 Gigs is not enough if you like to use apps. Most of the 8 gigs was taken up by preinstalled apps. I have to constantly rotate apps because of this lack of space. I installed an SD card, however, apps cannot be installed on the SD card. Still, for the price of the phone, it is a very good deal if you do not care about apps.

    Awesome Prepaid

The Samsung Galaxy J3 4g LTE was awesome, my iPhone 6 was stolen by an ex and I needed to grab a prepaid until I got the police to get it back for me (took a couple months). I couldn't tell the difference between the J3 and one of the new Galaxy phones when I was using it. When I got my iPhone back, I didn't want to go back to using it. Unfortunately, I had 8 months left on my current contract, so I didn't really have a choice. All in all, this is a PERFECT option for someone who is not looking to sign a 2yr contract, but needing a great smart phone.

Great phone I saw this phone I was surprised of the price. It's a great phone phone runs fast and great download speed. I was going to buy boost mobiles version of this phone and talked to my best buy experts and recommend Verizons phone boost didn't work well in my area so I got this it's nothing short of great. The camera is ok and wanted gold color but otherwise it is a great phone.

The phone right now is just being used for texting and calls, however the memory and camera suck. It's just a temporary phone but doing what we need it to do.

I bought this phone due to the fact it was "supposed" to have 16GB of memory on it, the only reason I bought it, come to find out, there is only 8GB of memory. Brand new phone and the memory is already full, I do have an SD card, but that doesn't really help with the apps and systems that take up alot of space that can't be moved to the SD card. Very disappointed, if I knew this, I would have bought another phone with more memory. :-(

I just got this Samsung Galaxy j3 at Best Buy today with Verizon it's a great phone but the only problem I'm having is with the battery I charged it fully and after 4 minutes it went down to 99% so I might just have to exchange the phone I'm going to keep it off charge tonight and see how long the battery lasts
