i could not find the DVD on the shelf. I asked a CSR and the first person could not find it either but she called on someone else to locate it. That person was able to find the DVD. It took a while but I left a happy customer haven gotten the DVD I wanted.

The actors are so full of life. The actress that plays Victoria brings her character to life its like you are actually knowing what the real Victoria the Queen was like. I loved the love story and how deeply their love was for each other.

It's even better on blue ray then it was on tv. I'm glad I was able to get it here, as all other stores where out. It great to see Jenna and Tom as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It's like seeing history come alive watching it.

Fell in love with the series when watching it on LPB. Recently saw this on shelf at another big box store, but Best Buy beat their price by a couple of dollars. Just happened to see it, and bought it on impulse. Glad that I did!

I enjoyed this series so much that I purchased it. It has a very good cast and keeps the plot moving and interesting. If you like British based series, especially ones based on their royal history, I think you will enjoy this.

We are big PBS Masterpiece fans, and they did not disappoint with Victoria! Great acting, Jenna Coleman does an amazing job, great drama, and so far it's very accurate, historically! Definitely one to add to your collection!

PBS does outstanding job on the story of victoria and albert of england.The love between them lasted with her having lots of children!

As a semi history buff Victoria was part of my interests of learning along with The Tudors. So when I heard about this show about her coming to PBS I was all for it. Of course with anything with history in it into a series there is some inaccuracies. Even The Tudors had some wrong info within it and it was still a great series. The same can be said about this one. I just hope season 2 will be just as good.

This is a really great series based on the life of Queen Victoria. I liked Downton Abby and this is in a similar vein. I bought the blu ray while still watching the series on tv. I enjoyed watching it again on blu ray.

I enjoyed this take on Queen Vic and the actors were well cast; the costumes and locations were very nice. I am glad Jenna Coleman has found a project worthy of her talents now that she has moved on from Dr. Who.

I wanted to see this on PBS but did not know what was the first episode. With this blue ray I can watch anytime I want and have seen the first episode and will watch other episodes in the future when I want to

I saw this pm PBS and fell in love! I picked this up and quickly realized that this version is the UK version which cuts out some material that's shown on PBS. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great TV Series. If you want to fill the Downton Abbey void you would love this series. Like other historical drama on PBS I always google it to learn more about the people like Victoria and others.

Great fictional story of young Queen Victoria. Good character development. The scenery and costumes are wonderful. Hope the series continues with additional glimpses into Victoria's life and reign.

This was seriously so good. I was a little in the fence and it has a bit of a slow start but once it gets going you can't stop watching. So clear a weekend because once you start you won't stop.

Even though it hasn't fully aired in the US, this set contains all 8 episodes of season 1, plus bonus features on the third disk. The show is very engaging and well produced, with period accuracy.

At first, it took me a while to warm up to this visualization of the young Victoria and Albert! The costumes and scenery is detailed and true to the period; however, I did not feel, at first, that the male and female leads were true to the real life historical figures, but they grew on me. It's a shallow version of Downton Abbey, but is entertaining nevertheless.

The DVD set covers the beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria. It shows how she wanted things her way which was unusual for that particular era..Well acted and the production was beautiful.

I think this show is so great! You really get drawn in! It’s a must see for sure! I’d put it up there with downton abbey and the crown! I’m goinf to re watch it for sure!

For fans of English history this is a great series reminiscent of shows like The Crown and Downton Abbey.
